  1. Fo4FI FPS Fix works with restored and repaired precombines. The author went at length to check and repair ALL precombines in the VANILLA game to achive a better framerate. The downside is, that this only works flawlessly in an pure vanilla game. Any mod, changing precombines or breaking them to funktion will conflict. That is also the reason, why Fo4FI FPS needs to be at the end of the load order to work (you could say, that this conflict you see, shows that is works correctly, when you have mods, changing precombines). There are some compatibility-patches. Maybe one could help you.
  2. For most mods you will need SKSE. Especially very large mods. If you are a beginner to using mods, I would recommend S.T.E.P. This is kind of an step by step guide how modding and skyrim works. It's a lot to read but quite easy to understand. here the link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11/? Wish I had this, as I started using mods... ;)

  4. unfortunately no. But you should post it in the "mod requests" section. would be great to have one of "our" formidable modders making it! I LOVE Planescape Torment!
  5. i will say it, as I understand, and it may not be absolutely correct... 1. Skeleton A Skeleton is the base, where you "attach" animation on. It also is essential, how ragdolling (how the body reacts on e.g. impacts or how it falls). 2. Body Mods like CBBE and UNP These Are Bodymodells, containing meshes and textures, building and moddeling frame and shape of the body of PC and NPCs. 3.Body textures Ok, the name says all...it's the "skin" of characters. But I think, your problem might be more simple but essential to solve... Do you use Tes5edit? If "no" you simply HAVE TO get used to it, if you want to mod decently. In the meantime, try to reset the archive invalidiation with NMM ( the tool dropdownmenu) after installing your mods. Quite sure it exists also in MO. But since I don't use it... Hope this helps. (Sorry, if there's something not clear. English is not my native language)
  6. May be a little late, but "Imps More Complex Needs" adds canibalism to the Bosmer Race. Comes with MCM-menue and you can turn it on and off for all races. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10639/? Even "feasting" on a corpse is animated... ;)
  7. Inspired by this idea, I deleted named folder completely (sheer desperation...). It worked! No dark faces, no problems so far! (Just to be on the save side...don't delete the folder, just move it to a save place! So you can restore it, the moment you encounter any problems! ;) )
  8. first, do you have enough / all needed cubes? If it's only a "technical" problem, of activating "something", try to quicksave followed by quickload. This often helps me, if I can't activate a body or a chest.
  9. Had the same problem. You can find the solution here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/663448-howto-see-factions/ I'm running the werewolf-mod "Moonlight Tales". and set wolf-faction to friendly. which probably caused the vampires to go friendly too...
  10. Ok, finally I fond it! The mod "Balanced Magic" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2275/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D2275&pUp=1 caused the problem. Didn't realize, that it had indeed something to do with leveling up ( looking back, it ist quite obvious). Removing the mod, solved my troubles. I hope, it still helps someone... Cheers
  11. *bump* Problem is persistent. stuck at lvl.45... Everything else runs smothly. Only that "my" skyrim seems to hate levels over 45...
  12. Just as a solution, 'till there is a real one: Open console set your level one level deeper as your actual level with: player.setlevel xx close console at least were able to play on that char. in fact, we level on. but nominal i freeze at 44 ^^
  13. I have the identical problem when leveling from 45 to 46. levelup message appears. I save I level up (stats+perk) save reload 3 secs and screen freezes I replayed from lvl. 44 to 45. no problems I also gave my char a lvl above 45 --> saved --> same problem as with a "natural" level up. So, did you solve your problem or could anybody else help? No level-mods installed. Also using BOSS, tes5.edit, and wrye bash...so I'm not a complete noob ;)
  14. Ok, this may be to late to help you, but anyways, it might help another lost soul...^^ Had exactly the same problem, and you gave exactly the right hint in your question. Deactivate USP and voil'a...play on! You might reactivate, when finished the queststep! :)
