  1. EDIT: Solved. If you're wondering, here's what it boils down to: If you set your characters level, any level-checking quest activators will fail, including the one at Miridia's shrine. My character was level 19. Requiem sets that quest to level 20. I set my level to 20, and it didn't work. I eventually found this out later. Hope that helps you if you're encountering this! (Skyrim's vanilla level for Miridia is 12-13, IIRC) You can start the quest "The Break of Dawn" not only by finding the Beacon, but also by just walking up the steps to the shrine. (You can see this yourself on the UESP wiki) However, this does not work for me. As a matter of fact, I cannot even set the stage of the quest. If I do: setstage DA09 50 and then do getstage, it still shows up as 0, and my journal does not update. I cannot force the quest to progress. I'm going to narrow this down for you as much as I possibly can: It does not work, even if I set my level to 50 (so level requirements are not a concern)It does not work even if I wait 7 in-game days in an inn first before arriving (so I don't think it's a timing issue)It does not work even with no mods (excluding USSEP)It does not work even with no mods (including USSEP)It does not work on a brand-new characterI have already re-verified by steam files, they were fine. (excepting the exe, which I explain below)I'm going to tell you some other things. I don't think they're relevant and likely will just cloud the discussion, but I'll add them anyways: testing was done on a new profile in MO2, v2.1.5OS is Windows 10 ProI was using SKSE 2.0.7, with the old executable of Skyrim which I retrieved using the steam console (download_depot 489830 489833 1298692161422189837) I am doing this because several of my mods when playing normally have SKSE plugins, which are based off the SKSE 2.0.7 executable (and haven't been updated yet)Any help is greatly appreciated.
  2. Mod is here: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43530?tab=posts It's missing tx_telv_wood04_g.dds. Several comments have pointed this out. I've looked everywhere for patches. On the "various tweaks and fixes" (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43795) page I tried both "Fixed meshes for Tyddys Telvanni (non bump version)" and "Tyddys Telvanni Fixes", but neither have either the tx_telv_wood04_g.dds or change the Ex_T_manor_02.nif file. So yeah. If anyone knows of a patch, that'd be great. I'd rather avoid the whole "re-name a different texture and just get over the fact that it's not really right" thing. Thanks for any assistance. I'm sure there's a fix buried...somewhere.

  4. Yeah, it's likely a bit too big of a project for your average modder to undertake. I'd love it though. I'd like to see what it's like to be in the cold, unforgiving wilderness of Skyrim when no-one's left. Bonus points for playing it with Frostfall + Realistic Needs and Diseases to make it even harsher. Perhaps Requiem, too. Disabling fast travel would be a must. For full effect you should wake up in a destroyed city, Helgen for nothing else but simplicity, since the destroyed version is a vanilla asset. Also, you'd only be disabling Human NPC's, not animals. Animals are cool. Can't talk to them, after all. I wonder if Drauger/Skeletons/other enemies should be kept though. Do they make the experience more scary, or is pure lonliness the best route? I think it's the latter. Perhaps the story goes that the Dragonborn died at Helgen, and didn't make it to fulfil the prophecy. Instead, the Dragons won, and all of Skyrim is in completele ruin. Not as mysterious though. I prefer the pure disapeerance to the Dragon idea.
  5. I was recently traveling through the marshes southeast of Solitude, at night, and realized just how f*cking spooky it can be with the right ENB's/Lighting Mods/Shaders/etc. I was thinking, what if everyone in Skyrim was gone? Im talking every character, every NPC excepting the animals just completely disapeered. Then we're left with notes scattered across the whole of Skyrim, hinting at whatever the mystery was that caused it. Just a short thought. If anyone's more interested in it I could provide more details.
  6. Thanks, but with mod organizer, it's kinda strange. It has both the cleaned ESM files and the regular ones in there. It says the regular ones are "unmanaged" though. Not sure about that.
  7. Hello! Looking for some help with my load order. In what order do I load (using mod organizer) Cleaned Update.esm Cleaned Dragonborn.esm Cleaned Hearthfires.esm Cleaned Dawnguard.esm Unofficial Skyrim Patch Unofficial Dragonborn Patch Unofficial Hearthfires Patch Unofficial Dawnguard Patch And the priority for the expansions themselves. Thanks!
  8. Also, my CPU frequency is showing around 110% even when nothing is open on my computer? (0% usage). What's up with that?
  9. Hello! I don't fully understand Hard Faults (previously called Page Faults) or how they're related to Vitual Memory. My system has 8GB of ram, and using Resource Monitor, I found that Skyrim seems to only use about 4 GB of it, leaving 4 GB untouched. However, my hard faults exceeded 150 Hard Faults/sec. Is this normal? Should I change my Virtual Memory from 8104 MB to something less? More? 0? Any help would be highly appreciated! :D
  10. I'd go to 750W just to be sure. That's a powerful card and have low power is a big issue you don't want to deal with. The rest of it looks really nice. SSD's are nice, but I'd back your files up to an HDD. SSD's can have issues as they're still a relatively new technology. I'd upgrade the ram to 16 GB as well. I'm not positive, but some of those things might be cheaper off NewEgg. Check there. Might save a few bucks here and there. Oh, and windows 8.1? Are you mad? What are you, some kind of filthy casual? Get windows 7 pro. (Plus, if you ever plan on playing Skyrim with mods, good f*#@ing luck getting everything to work on 8.1)
  11. Does anyone know a method of changing the title of this post? I think "CTD Issue" would be much more fitting, but I haven't seen an option to change it anywhere. Thanks!
  12. Hmm. Strange. I have lower specs. (Intel Core i7 2.4 GHz, Geforce 755m (which is equivelent to a 560 or so) and I'm running Skyrim on high settings with 1024x texture pack and it's working great. Crashes often, but I have over 150 mods, so that's expected. Questions: Are your drivers 100% up-to-date? If not, check that they are. Are you running using SKSE? That's needed for several of the mods you have. What mod manager are you using? Mod Organizer, or Nexus Mod Manager? Mod organizer tends to be more issue-free since it doesn't modify base game files. Was the Skyrim installation clean when you installed your mods? Is your card getting good ventilation? Is it clean? Any dust/dirt? Is the power supply adequate of supplying the GPU with more than enough power?
  13. Hello everyone! I've recently been dealing with some issues regarding my Skyrim installation. It seems to have a habit of crashing every 5-45 minutes, depending. I've posted on a couple forums and decided it's not heat-related, though my temperatures are reaching around 86 degrees celsius on average. (Apparently the cap is 110) So, I've come to the conclusion it's my load order. I'm sure there are some great load order experts out there. If anyone has any suggestions (preferably those from experienced modders/players who know what they're talking about) then I'd gladly try them. Computer type: Laptop Computer brand: Lenovo Model: Y510p (And before you ask, yes, I've heard of "Unshrouding" (https://forums.lenov...ns/td-p/1533688) the fans. This does seem like a decent idea, but it'll void the warenty, so I can't do it for a long time. Specs can be found in detail here (http://shop.lenovo.c...0p/#techspecs), but I'll put the basics up just for simplification. OS: Windows 7 Professional Edition, System Pack 1, Fully Updated Display: 15.6" FHD LED Glossy Wedge (1920x1080) CPU: 4th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ (2.4GHz 1600MHz 6MB) GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT755M 2GB (Single card, not the model with 2 cards in SLI) Memory: 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SDRAM 1600 MHz Storage: 1TB (5400 RPM) + 8GB Hybrid Drive Driver for GPU: Version 340.52 (Latest version, cleanly installed, old ones deleted absolutely) Note: This laptop is relatively new (perhaps 2 months now) and I've never abused it as far as I know. I keep it clean, and use it as a desktop. I keep it plugged in almost 24/7, and don't let anything cover the air vent on the side, or the intake on the bottom. It generally crashes every 5-45 minutes, depending on how demanding the situation is. In some cases, it can be near-instant. My Skyrim Setup (Including Load Order, which will be provided as an attachment) 1: I'm organizing all my mods using Mod Organizer, latest version (1.2.1.1) 2: I'm using LOOT to sort my load order, and I'm not messing with it at all manually, though I'm sure this could be beneficial if I knew what I was doing and researched the mods correctly. 3: The only, ONLY graphical mod I have is a 1k texture pack (The "Lite" version of Skyrim HD - 2k Textures) which is stated as almost demanding the same GPU power as normal Skyrim. No ENBs, nothing else at all. 4: I've run the Skyrim Launcher and set the settings to High, with a slightly lower AA setting. 5: I've followed the S.T.E.P. guide version 2.2.9 almost to the letter regarding everything from FOV to INI tweaks, among other things, including tweaks to nVidia settings. (Before the tweaks, my heat was just as bad) The STEP guide can be found here: http://wiki.step-pro....com/STEP:2.2.9 I believe that is every possible bit of information I can give you. If you have the slightest, even the tinest question regarding my setup or otherwise, ask it immediately and I shall reply. I don't want a lack of provided information on my part to be the cause of not getting a reply. Attached are my plugin order and mod order. Not sure which I needed to include.
  14. Huh. Looks like you can I are in the same boat. I just made a very similar post. My temperatures are around the same and I had assumed that's what was causing my crashes. I think it's either one of my mods, or a combination of mods. Perhaps ever the order they're loaded in. Either way, we both need someone who's an expert to look over our load order and determine the problem. I CTD instantly every 5-45 minutes, depending on the situation. But I get good, stable FPS.
  15. I still feel the heat is excessive. I've heard the fans run at full blast when I was using the Dust Removal utility, and no matter how hot this thing gets, the fans never rev up quite that fast. I wish developers put frickin' fan control on these things. I figured about about the Vram a couple hours back. Sorry about that. I'd still like someone to look over the load order, perhap suggest a re-arranging of my mods for optimal performance/less issues. EDIT: And furthermore, if that isn't the source of the crashes (heat) than what is? If It's load order, then perhaps someone can suggest a new load order. If It's not, then please, I need some help.
