  1. UPDATE: I have reinstalled everything and Fallout: New Vegas is now showing as discovered so it looks like I can get to modding. I have no idea what the issue was previously as everything was installed in the same places and I didn't change anything afaik. In any case I have learned not to question such things and roll with it so I am a rollin . Thank you to everyone who offered advice and it was appreciated that you all tried to help me.
  2. Sorry if I was unclear with regard to Stardew Valley, it appeared in the supported list first and once I downloaded it then showed in the discovered list. I didn't mean it shows both my fault for unclear description. As for the extension yes Fallout New Vegas shows with the green enabled tag in the extensions part. Just as a thought I disabled it and then re-enabled it with the appropriate restarts but sadly nothing doing. That is the only place I can see anything related to FNV showing in Vortex. I think at this point the only obvious thing I haven't done is to try to reinstall New Vegas & Vortex again just in case something borked on that part (which is a pain given my potato internet) and the game has run modless so I am not sure that is the issue. However as with any troubleshooting it is a case of working through the options I guess.
  3. Quickscan gives me: Discovery completed No new games found The screenshot I posted is from the supported game list from my Vortex. It was my understanding that you used this list to manually point vortex at your install if it didn't detect the game for whatever reason. My issue is that it doesn't show even as supported so I don't even get that option and its also not finding automatically like it did with my Fallout 4 install. I have just done a quick test and reinstalled Stardew Valley (as its a small download) and the Vortex picked that up automatically (featuring it in the discovered tab) and also shows on the supported games list. My only thought is that New Vegas support has been removed on the latest version of Vortex? Other than that I have no idea what I am missing
  4. In that case I have done something wrong somewhere I guess and would welcome any suggestions as to where to start as it is most certainly not featuring in my supported games list within Vortex (see screenie). I am sure I am missing something obvious and I apologise if this seems a bit basic or stupid. Thanks again for any help.
  5. Sorry for apparently being stupid but can someone answer the above question for me? According to the blurb on the Nexus it does support that game however when I actually download Vortex it doesn't find my steam install nor does it appear in the supported games list so I cannot manually add the install location. (It is not hidden I checked that option just to be sure.) In Vortex itself its only shows Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Fallout 4 VR while the website lists Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Fallout 4 VR and Fallout New Vegas. Am I missing something obvious, just being stupid or is there conflicting information between the site and the application? Thank you in advance for any help.
  6. In the end we only find regret for the chances we didn't take
  7. +1 for this request and came here to ask the very same thing. So many nice views that I want to take a screenshot of but its a pain in the ass to remove all the UI elements and then readd them so you can get back to playing the game. I would also ask if it would be possible to create a settings profile that you can swtich between too. So when I take a screenshot I can switch all the shinies on so it looks as good as possible and then switch back to my gaming profile when I am done so my computer doesn't melt
