  1. Hello. I didn't see a topic while searching for AddOnNode information, so I'm going to go ahead and post this. I'm working on some meshes which uses candles for a custom environment. The first set of candles I created worked perfectly with the vanilla setup- by adding a BSFadeNode of AddOnNode49 to my meshes, via Nifskope. It was pretty straight forward, so I had no issues. However, I'm working on a lamp post now and some candelabras, all using the same vanilla AddOnNode49, and they do not appear in the game with a burning flame, while all my initial candle mesh items still do. So, as working with nodes like these are new to me, I never used them while constructing clothing/armour, I'm assuming I missed a step somewhere, or maybe the game has some kind of limit (?). I'm very lost right now trying to resolve the issue. I'm hoping someone here on Nexus has some insight, or can at least point me in a direction that can help solve the issue. Thanks :)
  2. Thanks, but that site didn't have the answers I needed; It was just a guide on basic dialogue entry. I ended up writing my own scripts and got the exact result I wanted today after several tweaks.
  3. Having a slight issue with a force greet dialogue. Everything fires as it should, on queue. However, once the dialogue is completed (despite having the DoOnce set 1, "say once" ticked on every line" and having an end result that sets the conditions to end) the npc keeps trying to force the pc back into the dialogue. I'm not sure what exactly I'm missing on the end result or in my script that will disable a dialogue that should fire only once during the entirety of the game. And I cannot seem to find a tutorial online that leads me in any positive directions. It's the last piece in this follower mod I need to wrap up the whole project. I appreciate any advice that can be offered. Thanks.
  4. UPDATED: NEED SIX VOICE ACTORS. Hey there. My name is ViciousSARR and I am a mod author looking for a few voice actors for custom/standalone NPCs I am working on. Requirements: Male voice. Accent: UK (Welsh, English, Irish, and immediate surrounding countries) Most of the characters will have a standard 500-1000 lines of dialogue, same as the typical vanilla voice assets. Some may have fewer lines, some may have more. One character serves as the "hub" for all six, indicating where to locate the others once he is encountered in game. The goal is to have six followers (to start) each with their own unique personalities and a more immersive feel. They are setup to comment on villagers, quests and even about other followers. They have their own backstories and will even discuss the other five NPCs from the mod, through a series of dialogue branches or idle comments triggered by location or NPC proximity. Some will have quests knowledge. Each has a different combat style, some have custom made ones. All come with their own armors not found in vanilla Skyrim. They will come with a custom summoning spell and possible wardrobe functionality via dialogue. Each NPC is custom sculpted in 3ds Max Studio, so they will not look like the standard vanilla followers or their distant cousins  I am not adding any female NPCs. This is strictly male NPCs only. There are enough female follower/waifu mods already. And there is no guarantee I will be making any of these guys marriageable. This is about combat ready followers with depth, not a romance mod. My ultimate goal is to have the mod ready in full by June for original Skyrim. SSE will follow later. #1 Lister: An Imperial Legion lieutenant. A soft-spoken, tenor range voice. He's more of a youthful, naive character. He responds to the Dragonborn with admiration, hero worship. These are a few of his recruit lines: You... you're the Dragonborn. I've heard tales of your escape from Helgen. News of your feats have already reached the masses. You will be our hero. You will save us all. Join you? Fight dragons with you? How does one say no to such an honor? I will do my best to prove myself a worthy ally. #2 Sebastian: An Imperial Legion battle mage. Confident, tenor rang voice. He's a flirty, sarcastic character and confident in his own abilities to the point of occasionally coming off snarky. Samples of his dialogue: This is Riften? People come here to get married? Ugh! I guess if you want to condemn yourself to life-long misery, this is the place to get it started. So this place has an actual “Thieves Guild”? A guild of thieves? And no one does anything about that? Imagine what I could get away with then. Is there anything better than a tavern wench? Well, tavern lads are just as good. Not as good, but close enough. Of course not in Skyrim. It's just all hairy Nord men. Eh, some of the women are too though. That guard captain, what's his name? Modyn Veleth? Think there's a chance we can get him to have a round of drinks with us? I hear dark elves have more fun than anyone else in Tamriel. Atleast that's what I hope. That's the rumor I have been spreading anyway. #3 Ennah Avik: He's a Redguard serving in the Imperial Legion as a captain. Baritone range. A very confident and stern man who commands respect from his subordinates, but is still fair in his treatment of them. Temporary dialogue samples: So you're this Dragonborn who managed to escape Helgen. I'd be impressed if I knew that was the actual truth.I don't usually take orders. But I am in unfamiliar lands, filled to the brim with unusual beasts and savage peoples. When I agreed to bring my regiment to Skyrim, I never expected I'd lose them as soon as I crossed the border. The Stormcloaks will pay for their deaths. I'll take down Ulfric myself if I ever get the chance. #4 Mathis Adlathil: Dunmer physician serving in Imperial Legion as a medic. Baritone to bass range. Stern and logical. No dialogue samples just yet for reads. Just submit a vocal sample of your choosing. #5 Fenrarik: Orphaned Nord teen. Tenor voice range. Teen around 16 to 18. Youthful, naive, impetuous. No dialogue samples just yet for reads. Just submit a vocal sample of your choosing. #6 Bassnen: Nord Warrior/Mercenary Baritone to bass voice range. Aggressive and stern. Cynical at times. Newly added NPC. Meshes and Textures will be done by early next week. Dialogue sample: Most fools request a fee upfront of 500 gold, eh? Well, not I. My services are a bit more lofty you'll find. There's more to be made every time the boss loots a chest, right? Diamonds, gold, rare artifacts. Why settle for only 500 Septims when the boss can give you a share of their fortune over time? Aye that I do. Name's Bassnen. Folks have taken kindly to callin' me Bassnen the Brute. I'm sure over time you'll come to find why that is. Lead on, boss. More Followers may be added in the near future. So if your voice isn't suited well for one of these five, there's always a chance it will be perfect for a future one to be added. Contact me via PM if you're interested. Thanks

  6. Hey there. My name is ViciousSARR and I am a mod author looking for a few voice actors for custom/standalone NPCs I am working on. Requirements: Male Voice only. Preferably with a British, Welsh or Irish accent. Or very close to one of those. I have two sets of dialogue started for two separate male characters. One I hope to release within a month named Lister, who has an NPC already made. For Lister I would like a soft-spoken, tenor to baritone range voice. He's more of a youthful, naive character. Second character does not have his NPC made yet. Jut eleven pages of dialogue. He's a flirty, sarcastic character. samples of his dialogue: This is Riften? People come here to get married? Ugh! I guess if you want to condemn yourself to life-long misery, this is the place to get it started. So this place has an actual “Thieves Guild”? A guild of thieves? And no one does anything about that? 7. Expected dialogue amount is around (or close to) 500 lines for each follower to for complete character experience. Quantity may vary though. These are both custom characters with custom re-sculpted heads. They will have individual personalities and some features not found with vanilla companions. For Lister I would like a soft-spoken, tenor to baritone range voice. He's more of a youthful, naive character. He is the obedient follower who is eager to adventure with the Dragonborn. Second character is named Sebastian. He has eleven pages of dialogue currently ready. He's a flirty, sarcastic character. He questions everything and is not shy about sharing his thoughts no matter how snarky or ridiculous. Warrior class and race has not been decided at this time. He's still a work in progress but should be done with two weeks. Samples of his dialogue: This is Riften? People come here to get married? Ugh! I guess if you want to condemn yourself to life-long misery, this is the place to get it started. So this place has an actual “Thieves Guild”? A guild of thieves? 8. I released a Ciri DLC Unp version a few months ago. It bears only the midriff. If you like Witcher armors this may work for you. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72509/?
  9. Instead of posting individual messages regarding a request, it's easier to post a mass message. The Paige Hood, There have been inquiries and requests for an added cape/cloak. As stated in the mod description and as I have shared with individuals, the cape part is already made. It was made before posting the initial mod. I rushed to get the hood portion out first since there was interest in having it soon. So while the meshes for the cape and breast flaps for a rain poncho were made at the same time, I finished texturing the hood and released it early. I still have to texture the cape and flaps. And make some minor adjustments to the meshes. It will be coming soon, I cannot give a definite time frame as I am working on several mods simultaneously which includes a ladies nightgown (because why has there never been one?), and a few female Witcher armors/outfits we have not seen for Skyrim yet. The day I was going to start on the textures for the cape I received word from CD Projekt Red (Witcher) that I could present their Witcher assets to the Skyrim community. So in my excitement I started conversions right away. And last night I realized the nightgown needs to happen before anything else. Why? Well, it's just the feeling right now in the pit of my stomach. What can I say? I am easily distracted, lol. But rest assured the cape and flaps are coming. I have atleast two more colours to add too. The hood and cape was meant to accompany the Paige Cuirass. Well, I forgot I had a brown cuirass and subsequently forgot to make a brown/tan hood. So It's the very first priority before I start texturing the cape. But that will take 5/10 minutes. Hopefully by next week it will be out. But family is coming in from out of state and staying with us. I have a feeling there will be some minor delays I will not be able to avoid. Updates on the progress of the Hood/Cape and all other mods (including the second set of Bella's Lingerie which has preview images for all patterns already posted) will be through Tumblr. I post daily, unless there is nothing mod related to share.
  10. I played this game on Xbox... love it! It had been recommended as an equivalent to Skyrim. Although not exactly like Skyrim, it definitely has some of the same feeling. I'd be so thrilled to see mods for this game. It's my second favourite, to Skyrim of course.
  11. I was always disappointed in the marriageable Vanilla NPCs. I know, everyone is. It lacks depth and sorely needs development. Not everyone wants to omarry Nords. But apparently is Bethesda is anti-mixed race narriages. And so the Mer spouses are no where to be found, unless you download a mod which typically doesn't add more dialogue outside of "I do. Now and forever." So I wanted to work on a mod, starting with Sohlsteim NPCs, that adds unique dialogue (all Vanilla voices) to create not only marriageable Mer NPCs, but adds a depth to the relationship advancement. Courting dialogue. Yes. That's what I said. No one ever says, "Hey, you hired me as your battle companion. Why not stop at the Temple of Mara before we kill that bear?" or "Hey, you found my grandfather's sword someone told me was stolen twenty years before I was born and taken to an ominous location two days ride from Solitude. I suddenlt want to put a ring on your finger, Stranger." For a game that promised immersion, that's a little weak. So, I'm starting with Teldryn Sero. I honestly love the cynical voice. If all goes well I will start implementing dialogue changes to other Mer NPCs. It will be a slow process. I am a master at mixing vocals. I have no mod skills. So eventually I will need to seek outside help once all the voice files are complete and organized. First marriage/courting dialogue previews are already on my Soundcloud. https://soundcloud.com/sarrremix/i-do-so-love-you-serjo All his snarky cynicism is still in tact. Right now, he just seems to be fumbling through trying to be romantic, and remaining an ass.
