Don't get me wrong, the few that have been made are well done, and I'm sure there's hurdles involved, but a deathclaw companion that's more than "deathclaw but friendly to player" would be interesting. Maybe an escapee of the purge in Fallout 2? Or a descendant of the ones in tactics? Sort of a heavy-hitter a la Fawkes in terms of gameplay. Big, high HP, maybe uses a minigun. And to stand out, some kind of quirky unique companion function? (idk, like, you romance lizard and can use them as a portable bed). Maybe they trim their claws to do things like open doors non-destructively or handle caps (thus the ability to use the minigun). I could see an ambient argument with Myrna where Myrna is constantly saying "I don't sell to synths" and the deathclaw exasperatedly (to no avail) tries to clarify they're not a synth, but in fact a deathclaw.
