  1. Greetings all, DK High Imperials is a great mod by deathknowz, so a few days ago when I tried to check if there is maybe new updates for it, I discovered its gone. I have been doing searches like crazy the last two days, but I can't find anywhere that mentions what happened to Deathknowz's DK High Imperials mod. Actually, all his mods on the tesnexus site are gone. A direct link to the mod from a saved game links it to a location that says the mod is set to hidden. Since it been a few days since I've noticed its not available and the fact that they are all gone, does anyone know whats going on?
  2. I know the feeling. A bit more than a year ago I was still on dial-up. Took forever to download mods. At least now with the Nexus Mod Manager there is resumable downloads, making it a bit more convenient, especially when mods fail to download cause of the slow connection. Your welcome. I would recommend anyone on a slow connection to not install the DLC, or if you really want to have it, use SKSE while it downloads. For me though, that is a 23 hour download if I keep it on all the time, which ain't really possible. Will just have to backup that DLC when it finally finishes if I ever uninstall the game, format my pc or get a new one so that I don't have to download it again... that or Steam wakes up and program a simple option in to manage DLC, but I won't hold my breath.
  3. Thing is... 384kbps is my maximum speed... its not cause the server is slow, its my actual internet speed. Changing it to a US server will not improve it all for me. Im forever stuck with a 3GB DLC now that have to be downloaded whenever I install the game. Maybe it's just me, but for Steam not having the option to manage something so simple on a piece of software forced on anyone that want to play Skyrim is pretty bad. Sorry if I sound snappy, just a bit annoyed at the moment.
  4. So yesterday the HD texture pack got released, and being curious, I decided to try it out. After selecting it though, I realized it is 3GB big and decided to stop it since I can't wait for it to finish... Well to my surprise, there seem to be no way to cancel the DLC at all. There is no button to cancel download or no option to manage the DLC you selected. And worst of all, I can't play Skyrim anymore since it tells me the DLC have to finish downloading first. If I launch it offline mode, it tells me the game isn't ready to be played. I have uninstalled Skyrim, also just to realize that the DLC stay there, it just starts downloading again. Seriously, is it that hard for Steam to program a "Cancel Download" button, or at least give a "Manage DLC" option so that you can decide what has to download? This is the reason why I hate Steam... sloppy programming. The only option I have now is to use SKSE, but as soon as a update for Skyrim gets released in the future, ill be stuck with the 3GB download. And just for in case anyone is wondering why I am so annoyed by just 3GB... im on a 384kbps connection... I don't even want to think how messed up it would be if I was on a dial-up connection. Does anyone have any tips how I can fix this? I already sent Steam a support ticket, but still haven't received a reply.
  5. Thanks for all the replies! :D
  6. Thanks for all the replies so far! :D
  7. Greetings, Basically what the description says, what format do you prefer a readme or walk through to be in. I have set up a poll so that you can easily vote :D -Braclo
  8. Hi All! Quick questions. The greeting bug that messes up adding topic, does it affect choices aswell. I have a NPC that greet you, but i dont want to make it topics, I want to make a person choose between two. Am I safe to add it in the choice box on the right hand side or not? thx! -Braclo
  9. oh yea, i totally forgot about the guards! I will have a look there and see hows its done, Thank you very much!!
  10. Greetings all!!! I currently have a problem that I don't know if it is even possible. What I want to do is to put a short or float into a dialog of a npc. Reason for this is, its a value that can constantly change, so if you talk to the npc and ask the value, they say what it is. Is this possible in Oblivion? If not, what options do I have? -Braclo
  11. Greetings all! Machinima and just making videos to show games off with some cool songs has been a hobby I really enjoy for a few years now, and naturally, Oblivion became one of the places I like to make movies too. All of these videos I have uploaded to youtube, which brings me to my question. On Texnexus there is a category for Videos and Trailers, will it be ok if I post my vids there but ONLY link them to youtube instead of uploading the whole video? -Braclo
  12. Thank you! I thought I tried that before but obviously I made a mistake somewhere, thankyou for the example. :D
  13. Greeting! Need a magician's help with the following ^^. I want to make my weapon auto recharge slowly after its below a certain amount of charge. Lets say a charge of 1000. As soon as its below that, it should recharge by 1 point every time the script is called in GameMode. I got it to detect it with GetCurrentCharge [OBSE] but I cant seem to get it to recharge at all. SetCurrentCharge works, but only if you drop the weapon first >.> which is useless. I have also tried SetEquippedCurrentCharge but im doing something wrong cause it aint doing anything when its called. Anybody got any suggestions?
  14. Well thing is, with that mini mod, I used a activator with a script that calls the wood post (I liked the path nodes to that) by reference and called the disable path points command. eg. RefWoodPost.disablepathpoints. I did this cause static objects don't have script options, so you need to reference them. Now that seemed to have worked since if the npc is on that path and I disabled it, he changed his direction, looking for the closest path.
