  1. I actually got help on the Bethesda forums. ^^ However, they are both ready to go; you can try them out and let me know if there're any issues.
  2. I have solved the problems with textures and dirty refs! I have been working on these two mods for over a week now (spent many a sleepless night on them XD) As these are my very first mods, I would like to know if I cleaned/compiled them correctly, I would be stoked if someone could help me test them! If you do so, please let me know, so I can add you in the "Special Thanks" section! Download on Nexus: Cliff Racer Companion You can find the Cliff Racer directly in front of the entrance to Addamasartus (that beginner slave cave), east of Seyda Neen. console coc "seyda neen" to warp to that town. http://i.imgur.com/t3TZUpal.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dCyOCdWl.jpg Download on Nexus: Hulking Fabricant Companion You can find the Fabricant if you exit south of Balmora, follow the stream west, and he'll be under the big mushroom (south of Tharys Ancestral Tomb) console coc "balmora" to warp to that town. http://i.imgur.com/3QM5YkBl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/N31Zpfyl.jpg Please let me know if there is anything that I didn't do right! I would like to upload these for others to enjoy, but I wanted to make sure they were done right first. ^^ Taken from the readme.txt
  3. [sOLVED] I did not realize that there were two nif files to work with, I only knew about the X_.nif/X_.kf. So I am basically finished with my Cliff Racer Companion mod, but I wish to add some flavor to the companion by retexturing/recoloring it. I have the .dds textures ready, but how in the world do I add them to the creature? I only want them to affect the companion, not every cliff racer in the game. How would I go about doing that? This is my first mod, so any help would be appreciated! I use the new nif, which shows the new textures, but the animation of the kf file isn't clickable ("Animation" is greyed out on the CS editor.) It's the Morrowind.BSA vanilla file (meshes/r). How do I get the animations?
  4. I really hope this is the correct place for this thread... [sOLVED!] I just had to change the behavior to fly-only! Works fine now! ~ ♥ So, I've never touched the Construction Set before this. Recently started playing my Morrowind file again, and really wanted a Cliff Racer Companion, since they're adorable. But anyway, I've decided to try and edit "WOLF COMPANION VER 3.1 By Grumpy and Emma", as it has what I'm looking for. After hours of guess-and-check and looking through almost non-existent tutorials, I've got the basics down for it decently. However, I cannot seem to make the Cliff Racer follow the player without flying off in some random direction. No matter what I do, I can't seem to fix it, and I'm about to just give up. :/ I simply don't know where the issue is originating from. I don't want to start making more changes to the scripting, dialogue, sounds, and such until I figure this out. I was looking through other companion mods to see if I could work it out in them; tried it with "Xeon's Advanced Companion Creatures" mod and got the Cliff Racer to follow just fine with it, but it lacks the dialogue and other nice options that the other one has. I'm not sure if it's an AIWander problem or something in the warping script, or something completely unrelated... I just need the Cliff Racer to not fly away as soon as it's not next to the player. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Remember, I am a complete beginner with this! Here's my edited ESP so far (only needs Morrowind and Bloodmoon): The location is in front of that cave across from the Silt Strider in Seyda Neen.
  5. The newest version of MGE is really nice. :D However, I have a small problem that is keeping me from staying with it (I reverted back to my previous 3.3.2. version.) In the newest one, for some reason the water textures get all funny. The surface and ripples appear as straight lines, then they reverb into squares, and eventually get gaps in the waves and spazz out. I didn't add any water upgrades or shaders; just want to use the vanilla ones. My computer's settings are compatible with the newest one, BTW, and the problem was only there when I used the said version. When I rolled back, the water acted fine again, but gets all weird if I upgrade. Any idea how to fix this? :\
  6. Awesome mod! It looks so much better than the base ones. Super easy to install, and I appreciate the undies version (switched to after I had some awkward naked encounters on Solstheim.) I happily endorse this. :D
