  1. There is not much of a difference between DC and UC apart from details. DC comes with a stagger system and so does UC and they only differ in mechanics. DC is older and UC has a lot of its code in SKSE dll files. From my testing UC seems more stable but it has the drawback that it's not out-of-the-box compatible with FNIS. You can however skip installing the new animations and behaviour files with UC (the rest will still work fine) and then it's useable with FNIS. UC would be my recommendation. Both UC and DC can be combined with other mods such as Reactive Combat, Action Combat, Enhanced Enemy AI etc. I wouldn't combine them with DUEL, the SkyRE Combat module. They're not compatible with Requiem. Also keep in mind that when you combine mods such as DC and UC with (for instance) Action Combat you put a lot more pressure on the script system. The best thing is to pick one of the big combat overhauls (again my recommendation is UC) and then combine it with Enhanced Enemy AI or Combat Evolved which mostly touches NPC AI settings and contains no scripts.
  2. Yes, SSME was released first and the fix was later adopted by SKSE. SSME is no longer needed and is only to be used if you don't want SKSE for whatever reason.
  3. Sounds like you're missing a mod which one of the others depend on. If you download TES5Edit and run it it should stop loading with an error message indicating what you're missing.
  4. Not entirely what you ask for, but you could check out http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65013/? - it adds quite a bit of life to the people of Whiterun and other places.
  5. Anybody know what armour the guy left of Inigo (the cat) in this picture is wearing? http://static-3.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/40960-0-1446768182.jpg Thanks! EDIT: Got help from image poster - it's Mastermind armour!
  6. Morrowloot, Scarcity & Skyrim Coin Replacer Redux are probably the ones you're looking for. Specifically Scarcity, I suppose.
  7. Couple of comments on the memory when using the SKSE ini tweak. First, which seems to be a misunderstanding here, the total memory available for the first block is (defaultHeapInitialAllocMB) - (scrapHeapSizeMB). This is why you crashed when setting scrapHeap too high. Scrapheap should never have to be increased, no matter how big you set the defaultHeap. Secondly, in the enblocal.ini you have this setting: ExpandSystemMemoryX64 This setting can only be true if you have set defaultHeapInitialAllocMB to a MAXIMUM of 768. If you need it to be higher then ExpandSystemMemoryX64 MUST be set to false. This is because the ENB setting reduces memory fragmentation by allocating the bottom end of the memory first; potentially leading to a more stable system. Personally I have this to off and use a bigger Heap instead. Third, the memory setting in the ENB has for a long time been said to be VRAM+RAM-2048 but according to Boris (the creator of ENB) it should be set as VRAM - X where X is 170 if you run Win7 and 350 if you run Win8/Win10. For a 4GB graphics card on Win7 that means it should be set to 4096-170 = 3926.
  8. I do believe it's the Locational Damage mod. It's infamous for not working right. Not that I know, never tried it...
  9. I can vouch for Disparity. It lets you set a base carry-weight and then you can choose whether you want to apply racial and gender modifications onto that base. You can also choose to have different classes and other things. It does have some issues though, if you have other mods that edit race records then you'll need to edit one, both or make a patch with TES5Edit.
  10. This might help you to get started using TES5Edit to resolve compatibility issues: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61065/? Yes, I know, shameless plug of my own stuff...
  11. I could recommend checking out: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17720/? and you'll also need the patch: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59942/? Basically it's the same base-mesh but with a variety of textures. Then there different textures are used to make different clothing items in the game and finally distributing those clothes via a leveled list. If you wish to create more diversity then this would be the way I chose to distribute clothes; by editing the leveled lists rather than editing the NPCs directly.
  12. Nvidia was aiming for Q2-3, so it might be half a year before we will see the new card. From what I know AMD is buying out all avaible silicon to push their HBM2 card before Nvidia. Cards worth buying are usually released at the end of the cicle (gtx x80, x80ti). This might change with the new memory, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Aha, I might have to update myself regarding the time-line! At any rate, I think this is such a big tech-leap that it might be worth waiting for, at least for me personally but then I have a pretty decent system as is.
