  1. In response to post #55304988. #55305788 is also a reply to the same post. You can install the Redirector browser extension (available for Firefox, Chrome and Opera), then save the following as JSON and import it into the extension: { "createdBy": "Redirector v3.1.1", "createdAt": "2017-12-06T16:18:05.244Z", "redirects": [ { "description": "New nexus", "exampleUrl": "http://www.nexusmods.com/", "exampleResult": "https://rd.nexusmods.com/", "error": null, "includePattern": "^(?:[a-zA-Z0-9+-.]+)://(?:www.)?nexusmods.com(/.*)", "excludePattern": "", "redirectUrl": "https://rd.nexusmods.com$1", "patternType": "R", "processMatches": "noProcessing", "disabled": false, "appliesTo": [ "main_frame" ] } ] }
  2. In response to post #55262108. #55263073 is also a reply to the same post. Keeping https://old.nexusmods.com active forever would double the frontend development time, so it will be axed as soon as the redesign is fully complete and released. As for more personalisation, you can use Stylus to write custom CSS to tweak the website until Nexus makes the website more customisable, which you can request on the Nexus website bugtracker.
  3. In response to post #55230978. #55231898, #55236798 are all replies on the same post. The 30 pre-alpha testers and developers have had to test installing mods on Vortex, so they’ve had to have mods on Vortex.
  4. In response to post #55146708. I’d like to see it too (I’m imagining a purple version of the current logo with a dark swirly thing in in the middle that looks sort of like the Null Space portal in Sonic Forces (contains spoilers if you decide to look it up)).
  5. In response to post #55008708. #55008758, #55013093, #55040788, #55041363, #55042663 are all replies on the same post. I believe that it’s far more likely that it will be mod authors who will get early access to this software first and then it will be rolled out to everyone else, similarly to how the website redesign launch was handled, see previous article: As a matter of fact, I made use of this early access to fix links in my mod pages so that they would work correctly on the redesigned and original site.
  6. The “Files” tab is broken on all mods because it shows just the letter “E” and seems to be caused by http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/ajax/modfiles/?id=${modid} returning 403 Forbidden. (Issue discovered and debugged using Firefox’s Network Monitor) Screenshots: Update: It seems to be caused by one of my many extensions, now to just figure out which one it is. Update 2: Upon further examination, it is caused by HTTPS related issues (I have extensions that force HTTPS), and will be fixed once the Nexus team rolls out HTTPS for the entire site properly. Update 3: As it turns out, I had disabled the referrer headers in Firefox’s configuration, and that broke things.
  7. Trying to download mods shows the following error message for me: (screenshot taken from a windowed browser window)
  8. I'll try to make Nchuad-Zel happen (and maybe more cities down the line), but no promises.
