  1. Pretty much everything is done, just gotta wait for voice overs before uploading it. https://youtu.be/5bapiav7rtE A little surprise thanks to Hopper31.
  2. http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/HollanderLogo_zpsjwgi6lsj.png It's past Halloween, but I just finished scripting and playtesting a mod, this is my second and probably final mod that I am going to do. My first mod was Bob's Business and I tried many times to make a follow up and various other mods, but they were too ambitious and I ended biting off more than I can chew. With a busy schedule and a lot of random stuff, a second mod was unlikely going to happen. I remember stumbling across videos of the Dunwich Building and seeing comments on people were incredibly freaked out... it has a creepy tone, but more can be done I thought, so here comes a Fallout mod idea. I picked apart the Fallout 3 geck and figured out various things in the dunwich building. I got pretty far until I stumbled across a roadblock, which postponed the mod for several months. Hopper31 helped me fix that major headache and several others helped me get this back into the motivational spirit of finishing this mod. I'm scouting for actors, if anybody is interested, you can send me a PM. http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Hollander%201_zpsjrn5ti5w.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Hollander%202_zps2sasfqkx.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Hollander%203_zpsbdlx9x0w.jpg Won't spoil anything, but it's gonna be a fun surprise.
  3. These tutorials greatly helped me out. Once you get through dialouge and quests the first time, it gets easier and easier. It's just like riding a bicycle.
  4. I had a quick look at the fridge thing and it has a certain trigger with a script attached Someone else may have more to add, but this is just looking at the GECK.
  5. Thank you for the comment :) Just a quick little update... I built some quick interior sets for this. I present... http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Mercury_zps808ae997.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Mercury2_zps8dfd68ba.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Continental_zps6b332330.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Continental2_zpsd235309f.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Pioneer_zps6e396edd.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Pioneer2_zpse3cb9cd5.jpg These places need to be filled with various npcs and certain packages. The quest is over halfway done... I still need to figure out scripting before moving on to finish the main storyline, however these places will be a major setting. Here's a little character intro to Thomas Starr, the owner of the Continental Casino and Hotel. More updates soon.
  6. I recently released a new mod called Bob's Business and it helped me get my feet in the water, so I have one last mod to work on for a while and it's quite a large one. I've started making progress and finished one major chunk of the mod just recently. Here's a little image for a teaser... http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/MercuryCasino_zps144e305d.jpg This mod adds two casinos into Freeside and a few other touches to the Mojave Desert... with much more on the way.
  7. Hello everybody, One or two of you might remember me appearing briefly about a casino mod named The Runner-Runner. It was a far too ambitious project, coming from someone who has no history with the GECK, so it had to be scrapped and I left New Vegas modding for a while. I was voicing a character for a major mod coming soon and it brought me back for one last chance at modding. I started out with a small little shop at Freeside, I felt that Freeside needed a little face lift, nothing too fancy. It slowly built into a little quest mod lasting twenty minutes. I'm awaiting lines from the final cast members, but the mod is all set for release. Includes a little quest mod that results in a major prize.Voice acting will be included. The two NPCS, Bob and Roxanne, are able to repair your items and are capable of healing you for free. Here is a little preview.
  8. I started to do that earlier today, added some shops and billboards to the area, plus I am getting rid of the torn up roads around the area. I have the updates right here. Another casino might be in the works (Though Dead Money is required) I am still going back and forth on that decision. It might not be likely though...
  9. I have my doubts it will work with that mod I'm afraid. I might test it out and see what happens. If it works, then I'll let you know. You can gamble in this casino. I got the voice files to work and I got them lip synced too. (Trust me, this opens a lot of doors) Next stop is packages and having NPCs do stuff. Quests will come later (still figuring out how to do them)
  10. Thank you Polyfemus  This is the first video update- lot to go, but I was happy to get the doors in and find a home for it, but another obstacle awaits me.
  11. http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/Runner_zpsb91ea12f.png Hello people of the Nexus, I've been quietly lurking around the Nexus site for a long time trying out the newest mods for Fallout New Vegas. I never attempted to make mods for Fallout New Vegas, though I have for other computer games, after a recent turn of events- I needed to do something to get my mind at ease. So why not mod? I got the GECK recently and played around with it; it likes to fight quite a bit, but I love a good challenge. I have always wanted to make a casino in New Vegas, so why not take a shot. I present the main floor of The Runner-Runner. http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/TheRunnerRunnerCasinoFloor2_zps13ec4727.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/BenTuttle90TMO/TheRunnerRunnerCasinoFloor_zpsc2db8fe4.jpg I may be a stranger to GECK, but I'm not a stranger to getting things to the finest detail and I noticed some custom made rooms lack clutter and other assignments that bring out good decor. It's still a work in progress to get this the way I want it to be, but luckily this is the largest room that I need to do. I appreciate any advice or videos that will help me through this. So who owns this casino? I love reading the history of Las Vegas, so obviously a group of mobsters will take control, names might be a play on words to the old mobsters of the 40's and 50's. These group of men and women weren't allowed to be part of the Families, so they took an old hotel from the past and revamped it. It is their empire, their pride and jewel, and the one major tie to relive the past. I have plans for several quests, murder mysteries inspired by Hammett, a possibly of skimming the casino, and maybe, just maybe a heist? I'll have to see where the GECK takes me. I'm nearly done with the ability to play in the casino and to get banned from winning way too much. Will it be voiced? I work with animation and machinima, plus I can act in my own stuff, so I know who I can turn to for a cast. The problem is getting the voice files in and getting it lip synced. If I get around this issue, then I can do fully voiced characters. However I have one thing, I have a major animated project, so this may take a while... I'll be spending my time on my animation project and back to this once in a while. I'll post more as things move along.
