  1. I'm already doing my outfits like this, and it's just really dirty to say the least, the result looks just like an auto skin in Maya, that's why I'm looking for better tools/methods to do it better than those.
  2. Hi there, You're doing it wrong ; first, you'll have to hit : File>Make convertion Reference, type something, doesn't really matters, and then, you got a shape you can conform with ;)
  3. Hi there ! I usually creating outfits for both Skyrim and Fallout, but something really bothers me : bone weights. When I work with Unity, this poses no problems since Maya is really practical to use in this way, long, but practical, but that's where my actual workflow is flawed, it's because Maya has incompatibilities with nifs, and so with Bodyslide which makes convenient bridge between Maya and Nifskope ; but concerning boneweight, sorry Ousnius, but it's a real pain in the ass. Convenient for a quick mapping, but modify it manually is like butter a toast with a trowel. Drunk. It works, but it's quite messy. That's why I'm currently trying to find a way to import/export bone weights for Bodyslide with Maya which is by far more adapted for that kind of work. Unfortunatly, while Bodyslide seems to be fbx friendly, in fact, it is not. Not at all. Every search I made ended up in a shadowy forum where poeple talked about scripts shared on dead links if not worst : talking about 3ds Max (yeah, I don't like it). So, if anyone has a good advice, a shadowy script or a secret sauce I've missed, I'll be really gratefull. Thanks by advance !
  4. Hi there, I'm working on an update for my Chinese Stealth Armor mod, which will add some devices which will improve some types of gamepley. One of them improves mobile combat, allowing the player to be cloaked while moving in combat. The problem is, when the character strafes with a weapon in hands, the cloaking effect stops working for about one/two seconds. This does not occure when the character strafes with holstered weapons. Here's the condiction I gave to the property in the CK : I don't use any other mod for my tests beside AWCKR. I'm not a pro in this domain, but on te paper, it should not happen, right ?
  5. In fact, there are two reason why I ask, despite the obvious answers I'll recieve : - First, I need to motivate myself, and those answers helps me in that way, it's just how my silly brain work - Second, some Nexus moderators has the ban button really itchy, I couldn' risk to finish this mod to see it deleted because some moderator did not look close enougth and think it's an illegal repost of Unoctium's one. This thread is somewhat, a safeguard for that kind of thing. What happens in Nexus stays in Nexus Eeeeeh, nah, it's not yet finished To be honest, I think Unoctium's one is more detailed (he rocks better than me with Zbrush), but he made it looks like a cyber-ninja-close-to-skin outfit, I prefered make it more like a commendo/stealth shock-troop light armor. Hm, the helmet alone, without the rest of the outfit, looks just lame in fact ^^ However, thanks for your answers everybody, I'm working to get rid of it once and for all ^^
  6. Hi there, One year ago, I've started modeling my own version of the Chinese stealth armor (even before Dogtooth anounced his own as this post can show), but a busy schedule and some health issues slowed it down, and Dogtooth released his own. My current version is on a good shape, just missing a more complete esp and some more textures and some skinning adjustments as the screens can show : Here And there : (even with glass transparency that gave me some headache ^^) So, my question is : despite the massive delay and the very good Chinese stealth suit, is this mod plan has his place in the modding comunity, and if it is so, should I keep working on it or working on another project ?
  7. I'm testing it on a brand new save, there's no reason something goes wrong, even less with something as basic as just adding new object. I'll try to contact Ousnius, hope this'll go well, I've already spent too much trying to fix it.
  8. That is exactly what I've done again and again, and again (and again) ; and this doesn't solve the problem at all, that's why I'm running out of options. Dunno if it's the fact that I use Outfit studio for a male mesh with a vanilla outfit as reference (the BOS under armor, because the nude male body doesn't cover the neck part, but this worked ONCE and never again, without any reason.
  9. Hi there, I'm currently working on a Chinese Stealth Armor (I know, ncontinium is already working on it too, but I've started merely at the same time, and I just don't want to drop my work, I've already spent to much time on it) I'm currently using Outfit Studio to convert OBJ files to usable ingame NIFs ; it worked fine for my leotard mod, but since I've updated Outfit Studio to the latest version, I got this : Every vertex of the mesh is just thrown away and stuck at every corner of the world. I've tried multiple times, and all my efforts end up with something similar. Does someone has a soltion ? I really don't want to work on Blender, I just hate that soft.
  10. HI there, I've uploaded a mod this afternoon, made everything for it to be NMM compatible, but while downloading it with manager, got an error "Server Unreachable: nxm://fallout4/mods/13195/files/52156", dunno if it's from the file or the server. Else, the button "Download with Manager" doesn't appear in the main page, but is present in Files Tab... You can check it HERE Anyone got any solution, or I just have to wait ? EDIT : Well, waiting was the answer, sorry for the incnvenience
  11. Dammit, I was building a fresh new Skyrim build :/ Thanks for the update, hope this won't take a while to fix it ^^
  12. Yup, you can see it beneath the armor parts  And I'm still adjusting the parts for the opening animation
  13. Hi there, I'm also working on Enclave power Armors, actually the Advanced PA Mk II. Those screenshots actually shows fallout 3 tex I'm using as placeholders, but I'm currently working on my own to bring more suitables ones. http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/269743turntable000.jpghttp://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/933224turntable017.jpg Also waiting for Nifskope to being up to date, seems we can't import models for now
