  1. In response to post #35110715. #35113825, #35129405, #35130485 are all replies on the same post. I played the entire game through once unmodded, some textures added but other then that unmodded, then again, twice modded. Base game still stands. Just nice to have the extras. I buy the games not for the mods but for the game, then the mods add to it long after Bethesdas moved on. Skyrim the same. Fallout 4 isnt there best, has some great ideas, but no where near as immersive as the older games. Still love it and looking forward to seeing what the modders more so then the DLC bring to the game.
  2. Hey all. I ask here as a last resort, I spent this evening trying to do this myself and failing at it every time. I can get the models how I like my I fail to find where in the textures the shoulder spikes are for the Heavy Metal Gauntlets. An example of what I'm after can be found in this image. As you can see the spike on the right shoulder pad has been removed. I tried replacing the mesh with that of the 1st person one, but it made no difference. This used to work in Skyrim but somethings been changed and I cannot figure it out. Any help would be fantastic.   3. Having same issue here, anytime i try and load NMM into State of Decay it crashes, it wont automatically detect my Starbound either, when I manually add it and try and load it just crashes out. Works fine for Skyrim. But its new and I'm sure i'll get fixed soon as possible. Keep up the good work.
  4. Hey all. I'm only making this request because I have no experience with NifSkope or anything so I can't do it myself. I'm looking for someone to create a gauntlet based shield, much like the Amazon Warrior gauntlet that Wonder Woman has in the DC Universe. I understand it would have little use against arrows but against swords and daggers it would come in handy and with it being light it could be used for bash attacks also.
  5. Seeing as the scripted wedding is already there, I dont see why this wouldnt be possible. Have it activate a few days after finishing the quest to wipe the dark brother hood out, X amount of days or next time you visit the city after X amount of days. Only thing is you'd have to figure out a way to end it, though Ive no idea if thats built into the event or not, I never let it get to the end :)
  6. What about a magic needle? Just an idea but imagine this. You pop out your compass, and out comes the Dwemer Gyro thingy, then in the direction of North a small orb appears, you could steal it from magelight, it locates north and you can move around, it remains in the north direction. It'd have to be small to be non intrusive. Clairvoyance can do it (kinda) so you could tweak it to always point north, so when you take out your compass clairvoyance makes a small path north. Ive no idea how you'd do this in creation kit, that'd probably be the easier part, if someone knew how to write scripts, the main issue is the implementation of the compass itself. It cant be impossible, with all the SKSE features now there must be a way.
  7. I think the issue with the hud is easy to fix, just include an option to allow you to toggle opacity in the mod centre thingy.
  8. Hey has anyone still got a copy of the last version of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. I've been running into Random CTD with 1.3.0 installed and I think the last version I had running was 1.2.5 though I'm aware there was a 1.2.7. Like an idiot I updated and deleted the older version (i normally keep the last working one incase I get conflicts). If anyone could upload it anywhere just so I can grab it again I'd be forever in your debt.
  9. I started thinking about it alot more today when I was running around tapping the x button to see where the hell I was. If I had to stop and take out a compass while it takes up more time, its a little more realistic.
  10. Hey all. Ive been replaying Skyrim again since Dragonborn came out and I'm using SkyUI and loving it, really immersive BUT my only issue is, the compass. Your running around and hit the x key to show a compass floating magically above your head, that might work in modern games but glasses have HUD on them (ie google glasses) but not in fantasy. So my request is this, an equip-able compass. It doesnt need quest markers or locations, just a working needle that shows direction. Any chance anyone could make this? It'd be easy using Dwemer parts to create it ingame. If anyone wants to try please let me know, I'd be happy to give a hand, but I have 0 knowledge of Nifskope or getting models into the game unfortunately.

I just installed the Dragonborn Unofficial Patch 1.0.0a and after spawning in 2 dragons the second one allowed me to absorb its soul yet the first didnt which I found odd but f*** it I dont care it works. I'd previously tested by spawning in 4 dragons and 18 imperial mages to take them down. Never once worked. Repeated the test just now, 3 dragonsouls absorbed but the first didnt work, go figure. Thanks again to the Unofficial Patch Team, this has been the first game breaking bug I've come across in all my 1100hours of playing Skyrim and it only took the guys a day to fix it. I love you Bethesda but come on. Note: I found that the dragons that spawn with the creature ID starting with FF (these being generic dragons) for some reason do not allow soul absorbtion. However, any with a main file prefix IE 00 or 03/04 seem to work fine.
  12. Doesnt help with the whiterun watchtower dragon though because you need to absorb his soul to unlock the next part. Not sure setqueststage will help either, have yet to try it. I'd rather avoid having dragonborn installed, things like this drive me insane if I cant fix them. Thanks for the command line though :)
  13. Doesnt seem to work. Ran my level 36 clean save nothing, dragon dies and just lies there. Cultist show up just after but I didnt think this should cause an issue til I go to the new island. Clean save, only the official esm enabled and I still cant absorb dragonsouls. Its really starting to PISS me off.
  14. Hmmm I was considering trying this but I never actually did. Wasnt sure since I read in the unofficial dragonborn patch that they'd edited the dragonactorscript but I might have misread it. I'll give it a try now and get back to you. Thanks for the idea :)
