I can't speak for everyone, but I have seen a fair amount of input from fellow mod authors and mod users that it would be resourceful to have a sorting option that displays which mods have recently updated their files. I find it a little awkward that mods that appear under "Last updated" are there because the author changed a word or two (I am guilty of this, dam my critiquing OCD). I find it would be harmless and only beneficial to do away with "Last updated" and to newly introduce two versions: Last page updated - This will show users exactly what the current "Last updated" shows. Last file updated - This will be the new sorting option that allows users to browse which mods have recently updated their actual files. It would be interesting to see a list of which mods have made recent updates to their files, especially if the user missed out on Tracking them or the notification. It would also allow the user to see which mod is still freshly being worked on. This section should exclude the timestamp that comes with the specified mod's first upload file, that way it ignores recently released mods (unless of course they update it, which would make sense to have it belong in this section). Again, I can't speak for everyone, but it seems that a majority of users would really appreciate the option to browse mod files that are truly recently updated. I hope the Nexus can agree as well :smile:.
