  1. Heyo. Hopefully this is an okay place for this topic, but I have a dilemma. I'm using K ENB Pure Light with the .308 binaries it requires, but something is causing this error to appear: "steamapps\common\Skyrim\enblens.fx(1691,25): warning X4008: floating point division by zero" Someone else in the K ENB post section had a similiar issues, but all the author said was it was likely bFloatPointRenderTarget not = 1, which mine is. The coordinates it specifies are blank in the enblens.fx folder, and there's not even any numbers in the line it specifies (1691): https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/489405903620276224/705171936031801414/1231231.png Manually deleted all ENB files before I installed this one. Updated drivers and ran a system check. The ENB works fine for other people, so it must be something on my end, but I have no clue what. This also happened with Serenity ENB Extended FX, but the lens isn't as integral to the experience of that one, so I just deleted the lens file. Help would be much appreciated.
  2. Hey there. I'm trying to port my outfit mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34153) to Fallout 4. I used this tutorial: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21111/ Not finding any up-to-date tutorials on making a standalone armor mod in the creation kit, but with the Armors and the ArmorAddons I imagine it works similarly to Skyrim, so I did all the steps in the above tutorial, but when I load the mesh BodySlide generates in the Creation Kit as an ArmorAddon, it crashes. No idea why and Google searches are telling me nothing. Help would be much appreciated.
  3. Holy crap. I had no idea it updated like 3 days ago. This is extremely helpful thank you so much for bringing this to my attention.
  4. Apologies if this isn't the proper forum for me to post this in. Anyway, I made a crop top mesh in Marvelous Designer and I'm having a hell of a time properly weighting it. Even using references of somewhat similar meshes gets it looking like this: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ET2CKKRX0AYJICH?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ET2CJwoWkAMmYOk?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 This is how it looks in Outfit Studio: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/616373435471364149/691973280168542228/Desktop_Screenshot_2020.03.24_-_07.21.44.80.png My boyfriend, who has experience in making and weighting mashups, tried his hand at weighting it but is stumped on how to fix this weird clipping-like issue with the sleeves. If anyone could give advice or guidance that would be fantastic. I can post the .nif file if need be.
  5. I hope I posted this in the right place. Hi, I made this mod. I'm working on an updated version but I'm having trouble with the textures. There's a noticeable neck-seam, as shown below: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EPtiwdrX4AAx1D7?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EPtiwdyWsAEoWCk?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 I think it's an issue with the head textures specifically. I desaturated them in Photoshop and saved as DXT5 ARGB 8 bpp | interpolated alpha (I think I got that as the "right" setting from some tutorial, though I don't remember what.) Is it an issue with the way I saved it or something else? EDIT: I fixed it! I think. Another modder pointed out that I had the skin details set wrong under the Race's tinting tab in the CK. After changing that the neckseam was barely visible. The artifacting was caused by me using the wrong compression when I should have used 8.8.8
  6. Hey! I can't seem to find anything about generating or manually creating metal maps (I assume that's what denotes the textures that have "m" attached to them, as they seem to only depict the metal parts of objects.) The tools at my disposal are Blender, Nifskope, Photoshop CS6, 3DSMax, Maya, and Mudbox. I'm wondering this so I can figure out how to get the spikes on this choker I sculpted myself to look metallic! EDIT: Here's what it looks like in-game atm ;; not sure if the normal maps I made are working or not.
  7. I'll try that. EDIT: It worked when I did it manually. Thanks!
  8. Heyo it's me again. Trying to make a custom playable race using this tutorial, but either my dumb ass messed up along the way or my files don't like me. I extracted the scripts.rar into my Data folder and didn't overwrite anything which got rid of my initial error, but now I'm getting this mess: Help from people smarter than me would be very much appreciated.
  9. This is what fixed it! I looked in the FFC thread and found this out. Thank you!
  10. This is 2011 Skyrim, not Special Edition, so can't be it.
  11. All I did today was install a clothing mod and now my camera won't move with my mouse in-game in TFC mode, which is pretty integral to taking screenshots. I have no idea what would be causing this. The mouse works out of TFC mode but not in. Going up and down with the buttons still works and FreeFlyCam still works. The only thing that's changed is that I had a power outage due to the hurricane. Help ;_;
  12. A video of what's happening: http://vultaa.tumblr.com/post/170366555647/ Waiting doesn't help. Interiors and menus seem to be fine (the menus are shown) but when I walk outside, the game runs at like 1 frame per half-a-minute GPU Specs: Uninstalled my recent mods (wearable HDT Tails, Naiad Race, Monster Eyes). Ran LOOT. Ran FNIS. Made a new save game. Rolled back my drivers for my GPU because they updated very recently. Restarted my computer. Nothing's worked. I'm REALLY hoping I don't have to do a clean install. Load Order: Papyrus Log (this is a mess:) Any help would be appreciated.
  13. 100 years later I'm back here. I did something convoluted again, this time importing into Blender, sculpting in Blender, and then importing into OutfitStudio to see what I could do there. This is the new .nif I've made for those who can take a look at it. After testing around with your body nif file, I think your body NiTriShape is broken. At first, I tried to replace the BSLighting with a working one from the default vanilla body. The result: In game also show black texture like that. Next, I replace your NiTriShape UUNP_outfit [33] with a working vanilla one and it worked ( also tested in-game ) So, my conclusion is you didn't export it with a correct setting. I used to have the same problem, when I still learning how to import - export body and armour to max, the body shader are all glossy and weird in-game, even after replacing it with a new BSLighting. Then I found out that I didn't assign the Body part after applied the BSDismemberSkin Modifier. So, I re-exported it with a correct setting and the problem is gone. Hope this help! :smile: Most of that went over my head but I appreciate it anyway T~T I suppose in order to get this specific body I'll have to wait until someone nice enough to do it for me comes along. For now I have a massive headache.
  14. WELL...UH...MARGINAL IMPROVEMENT? https://78.media.tumblr.com/75b26046446f1774f05bc9b9367e5d44/tumblr_p2023kuQDs1wo0oa1o1_540.jpg This is post-copying the bone weights using OutfitStudio. Something is definitely up with the shaders or whatever may be causing that.
  15. 100 years later I'm back here. I did something convoluted again, this time importing into Blender, sculpting in Blender, and then importing into OutfitStudio to see what I could do there. This is the new .nif I've made for those who can take a look at it. This time it won't show up in-game period (my character will just be a floating head, feet, and hands.) Sorry if I seem newbish because this is an entirely new thing for me and I wouldn't know where to find any guides that tell me how to do this properly. Textures typically don't show up in nifskope for me when the filepaths are reduced down to \textures\(etc.) but what's different about this is the body isn't blank, it has shading to it. It be better to use OutfitStudio for changes like this. If you did not change vertices count in blender, you can import your .obj when you have un-edited body loaded into OS, and if imported obj has same vertices as already loaded, then BS allow you to "merge" them. OutfitStudio allows for sculpting but I've attempted the featureless chest look I'm going for with it and it doesn't...work too well. I'm pretty sure I didn't change the vertices or anything back then or this time, to my understanding. I'm not sure how to "merge" in BS or OS though.
