  1. In response to post #34714565. #34718485, #34720180, #34724595, #34724720, #34725835, #34730065, #34730915 are all replies on the same post. jpsimonetti I agree with you. I can't see why one would want to browse mods on mobile when you can't actually do anything with them on your mobile (unless somehow the Nexus starts supporting mobile App mods?). I can see wanting to reply to a conversation thread on a mod, but you can do that through forums, or honestly, just pinch-and-zoom to the comments section. I've even done it myself, and it works great. That being said, I'm all for a better website if it means they can expand functionality. I'd prefer they give us options, perhaps even a skin system or something that can restore the look of the current site if you get nostalgic, but I see no problems in looking to make improvements.

Square and sleek has been 'in' with designs in general for some time now, and has nothing to do with Win10. And don't blame Microsoft for the telemetry; not only are the pretty late to the data-gathering party (Cell companies, Google, etc. have been at it for years now), but I can guarantee the main reason it's there is because of the U.S. gov't asking them for it. Just look at the current drama about Apple and the iOS backdoor. Just look at the NSA phonelogging last year. The only one sticking their 'head in the sand' here is you for subscribing to the idea that somehow every trend in visual tastes is dictated by anything other than user feedback and artistic style. You think those 'large/corporate websites' can just drop an entire brand redesign in less than 6 months? You think somehow Microsoft is willing to drop that kind of money on something that most people wouldn't even notice? I guarantee most of the recent trends you've been noticing have been in the works a lot longer than Win10 has been out. Not to mention the fact that Nexus layout and preview windows have already been square/rectangular for years, because, surprise, your screen is that same shape. Why waste time designing rounded edges on something when your Image designer tool is already squared, and so is the device your content will be seen on? It's crisp, it's quick, and it's simple.
  3. I, for one, welcome our new CDN overlords. In all seriousness, though, this is great stuff. These CND servers have been 100% reliable so far for me.
  4. I recently published my Eye Customization Overhaul mod, and I thought of something that would make customization even easier. How would one go about adding a new slider to the Character Creation menu? I'm looking to create two new sliders that correspond to the left and right eyes. I Imagine that there would be a need to somehow override the regular eye slider, and I'm thinking the easiest way would be to make a new "eye color" that's just blank, leaving both eyes empty for the new sliders to manipulate.
  5. So, I was digging through the CK to find some Eye assets, because I was hoping to make a mod to allow heterochromia (Left and right eyes are different color) or at least some one-blind-eye setups for Khajiit and Argonians, but I noticed that, whereas Human and Elf eyes have a Left and Right mesh, Beast races only have one mesh (at least that I could find), meaning that any change you make in the CK to one eye changes the other at the same time. Does anyone know of a way to separate the beat races' eyes into right and left, so that such a setup can be achieved?
  6. Some NPC dialog gets used quite frequently if you talk to the same character multiple times, like a merchant always saying the same line when you ask to buy stuff. Is there a way to randomize that among several options? Many NPC voice types have multiple different things they say, but a given NPC will only use one of them for that conversation topic. For example, say I make a mod with a new Merchant, and the voice file for this character has three different things he can say when you ask to see his inventory, how would I go about making it so that there's a 33% chance he'll use a given line, so that he will say different things each time you talk to him about that topic?
