  1. Thank you for your kind help! I will try. Actually, I only edited the diffuse map and not the three other maps. In addition, I am little bit out of practice after About one year, but I can use my own step by step instruction to learn again, ha, ha.
  2. Concerning the area files of Awakening, I made a step-by-step instruction: How to bring the areas of AWAKENING into the TOOLSET and to take them there for own cutscenes (39 pages, including more than 100 images). Maybe, it's useful for you? s. https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4427?tab=files (Second file from the top)
  3. Some time ago, I made some retextures, but I have got the problem, that from a little bit afar you will see the original colours again instead of my new ones. Now, someone has given me the kind hint, that I should "update LOD-s for model". I guess, "LOD" is an acronym for "Level of detail". However, I have no idea how to update the model. Any hint would be appreciated.
  4. Well, I prefer the old version. Frankly spoken, I hate the new design. I fastly clicked on "back" to get the old version again, which worked. I hope, that it will be possible to keep the old design in use, isn't it?
  5. Actually, I am working at a Mod Alistair in Awakening...
  6. Thank you for the link! I will take a look at it and work through the instructions.
  7. Thank you for your kind hint! Actually, I want the cross to appear in every area. Since my mod is playing in Awakening, I had to "rebuild" the areas for Awakening anyway into the Toolset. Well, not actually rebuilding, but creating an area as a new ressource and refering the fitting area layout. Is an area made like this "my own" in the sense, you mean?
  8. Ok. Yes, scaling itself is easy. I meant, how to get the scaled item into the Toolset to use the scaled item in some own cutscenes.
  9. Thank you so much for your kind appreciation! I feel flattered. Actually, it took me weeks to write this instruction about retexturing. Maybe, at least some pictures may be helpful for you. I wouldn't try to write a thorough tutorial (I am always writing my instructions idiot-proof, because I am writing them for me) in a foreign language myself, because I guess, it has to be as exact as possible. (In addition, I don't want to blunder with my English, ha, ha.) However, another modder, who has got Spanish as mothertongue, told me, that he translated my instructions into Spanish and that they were very helpful for him. That must have been a lot of effort, indeed. Maybe, I can help you another time to figure out something else for you on my part. I guess, you already know, how to scale items and get the scaled versions into the Toolset for example, don't you? Until now, I didn't write any instruction about, but I already know, how to do that. So, in case you want to learn about, I could help (in English). Just an offer, of course.
  10. Thank you so much for your kind hint! I will have to work through it. As you may know, I have written a step-by-step instruction about retexturing an item (sword for example) myself, s. https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4427/?, but I didn't know, how to avoid replacing them instead of making new ones. So thank you!
  11. Would you mind telling us the solution, please? That would be very interesting, indeed.
  12. I have added a henchman for Awakening. Now I want him to appear on the mini-map, respective a mini-cross, which represents him, on the mini-map. Unfortunately, I don't know, which file I could edit to get this mini-cross. Any help would be appreciated.
  13. Supposed, I will manage the technical aspect, I would like to edit something in Awakening: (I did this before with some other dialogues, but in this case it seems to be even more complicated, because in this case I need to consider the precondition of being part of the active party for the speaker.) I am thinking about an edited version of the very first conversation with Nathaniel. To be exact, Alistair - as a henchman - shall give some comments. After the warden said something like: "You could clear the name Howe.", Nathaniel said something like: "Oh, yes. King Alistair would give a chance to a Howe, wouldn't he?" So, at this point in my opinion Alistair could react positive or negative: (1) Positive reaction: Something like: "Why not? I always need good warriors at my court." (+) I guess, it's in Alistair's character to tell the good from the bad. (-) It has been Alistair himself, who revoked the Howe's titles and fiefdom, which had to strike Howe's children, espacially the son, because Howe himself had already been dead at the time of Alistair's decision. (2) Negative reaction: Something like: "I don't trust you." (+) I could recycle lots of lines of the party banter with Zevran. (-) It's so unfair. In addition, it would be boring. Any suggestions/ ideas for me?
  14. Great idea! Unfortunately, I am not able myself to create a mod like this. - I guess, you already have got the option to become "partner" of the tavern at Redcliffe, but you won't earn so much. Maybe, that could be a starting point. - I remember other rpgs - yes, it had been a time, when I played other games than DA, I mean, before I even knew DA, ha, ha - like Might & Magic and I guess, DSA, which had got banks. You could pay in and draw out and get interest! By the way, if I have to cheat - Ferelden is an expensive country... - I prefer the golden goose. At least, I guess, it's more fabuolus than the console.
  15. Maybe, someone else knows better than me. Did you try to load your files into the Toolset? I mean the path: Tools [menu bar above] Builder [pop-up menu] Builder to Builder load [second pop-up menu] However, I am afraid, that this won't work without having created some builder to builder files before...
