  1. That seem unnecessary strict and you seem to be mixing making an illegal mod page vs sharing a mod with some people. Making a new mod page and uploading a mod you did not make would be "piracy". Sharing a mod with friends or someone asking for it, how can that be "piracy"? If that's the case I guess all of us is pirates.

  3. Hi I'm trying to build nice buildings and I'm making a patio outside my house where I like to sit to get rested buff. But to get shelter/resting to start it seem to need walls on 3 sides, and this destroy my patio plan. So is there a mod that can tweak resting/shelter requirements?

  5. Hi, Im not playing latest version, many mods had problems with latest version so there was no reason to update. Also several of this mods have added new functionalities with new bugs and issues so I stay with a stable build for 0.148.6 for now.

  7. Hi guys I just want to share my current mod setup that I have played with until day 12 so far without any issues. I have looked through all mods on nexus and tested around 150 mods. I have tested and tweaked all mods individually to match the speed of vanilla game, nothing OP, nothing insane, only tried to add more content and a more interesting and better experience. But ofc there can be things here I have not noticed or bugs that is there but I have not encountered yet. My goal: Stay a way from mods that make compatibility with other mods difficult. Tried to keep vanilla game intact, just added some spices on top. Stay away from everything that seem OP as many mods is, or adjusted OP mods to be more in line with vanilla game. Make everything feel like a natural part of the game. Slow down skill progress so there is still something to achieve later in game. Result: A more easy and at the same time more difficult game. Easier with skills that as you level them up they give more benefits and feel of progress. Adjusted everything to not feel OP. Harder with harder raids and mobs that spawn with up to 5 stars and with special abilities like healing and faster attacks. Easier with the possibility to find items with extra stats that normally take a lot of harvest to get. Drop rates is decreased to the point that I have not seen a single item drop in 12 days, and I have adjusted things to not fell OP, but rare and exciting. You only can find/drop items you already know how to craft. Improved visuals that clear up the lens and add vanilla style higher resolution textures. Ui and HUD mods that give more information and more options. Possibility to tame most creatures in the world. This maybe need some tweaking. And much more.
  8. Hi One feature Im missing is "download all files for this mod". It is so tedious to download several files from the same mod. Please add such a feature in the future, it will make downloading files much more pleasant. Another option is to add a "select files to download and click download" kind of feature.

  10. Next. I want to add durability and repair to guns and bows. I tried a few things that failed miserable, so I hope some here could know a trick or two. Have fun :)
  11. I dont know how to change appearance of zeds, but there is several mods that make more different zeds show up from start of the game. I think both "I Am Legion - The Pursuit" and "Ultimate Ninja and Booster mod 1.2.9" do this. I think it have something to do with ai_vis_representations.scr file in ai folder, but im not sure.
  12. Time to make a new post :) Search for damage settings for the first bow that is available in the shops around lvl 8-10. Im trying to change bow damage and I did it in inventory_special.scr and nventory_gen_dlc30.scr since this are the only inventory files that have bows. Some bows did change like the trapper, but the first bow that get available in the shops did not change. I dont know about any other files that change settings for bow but I guess there is. Anyone have any suggestions about this?
  13. Hi I dont know how to do that, but it is possible to increase xp penalty and add cash penalty. I expect that you have no knowledge about tweaking this game so I have written a quick guide. You need to edit one file. The file is a .pak file in: SteamApps\common\Dying Light\DW. The .pak is named "Data0.pak". I suggest that you open the Data0.pak with winrar or something like that, and extract the file "default_levels.xml". It is inside the skills folder. XP penalty adjustment Search for a setting "SurvivalPenaltyOnDeath" This setting say how much xp you lose when dying depending on your level. You can then adjust it to your needs for each level. Cash penalty adjustment Search for "PenaltyOnDeathFactor" This factor adjust how many percentage of your cash you lose when you die, so if you set it to "30.0", you will lose 30% of your cash, if Im not wrong. Then install the tweaked file back into "Data3.pak". This "Data3.pak" file is made for modding/tweaking. Recreate the same folder structure as in "Data0.pak" inside "Data3.pak". Drop the edited file into the correct place. Test your adjustments in a test game. I hope this was helpful. Have fun :)
  14. I did not find a solution to this, but I did something different that maybe is a better solution. I added a small chance for many other zombies to spawn in daytime, and this is something I copied from "I Am Legion - The Pursuit" mod from TheOneAndOnlyHitman. In the ai_vis_representations.scr file this was added. This have made the game much better, now I have to check what zombies is close all the time, and be more careful when moving around.
  15. Since I had so much luck in the last two threads I try again :smile: If I found more things I wonder about I will this to the questions list. 1. Loot respawn time: Is it possible to change how often loot respawn? How often does loot respawn, is it one ingame day, I want 7-10 days? 2. Solved When I start a new game I have many blueprints in my inventory. Does anyone have a list with blueprints player get aromatically from dlc's, and what blueprints that was in players inventory from start before dlc's came? I found all new items in inventory_gen_dlc files. 3. I think I need help adjusting when legend levels and skills come available. I have added several new skills so my survival skills have 27 levels, agility 33 and power 34 levels. I have also added this levels in the default_levels.xml file so there is now similar amount of levels to gain. So I wonder is there a way to adjust when I start to gain legendary levels? 4.. Does anyone have a mod that add ammo crafting blueprints to shops? I have found several mods that just give me this blueprints, but I like it better if I can buy them. Or is it easy to take those blueprints I get automatically and make the available in shops instead? 5. Solved In other thread. 6. Anyone have s suggestion to how I can reduce volume of survival sense pressing Q? I have been testing some settings in gameaudioeffects.scr and hdr_snd_groups.scr but no luck so far. 7. In most collectables files for dlc's in inventory folder there is a setting: OwnedAtStart(). I tried and put no and 0 and both removed the item from start of game. But I wonder what is the correct alternatives to put in between the (), and what happens with items when they are removed from start. Can I buy them alter, or do I get them for free later or what? 8. Some mods like "Survivor mod" and "Store Food in ur Backpack" made is possible to add food to inventory and not automatically eat it. I would love to have this in my game also, so if some magician know how this can be done, please spill your thoughts :smile: 9. Solved How to lower the "survival sense" sound? This is the setting in "hdr_snd_groups.scr" that control "survival sense". Im looking forward to your replies. Have fun :smile:
