  1. It's useful to test attack rolls and damage rolls, to see how certain buffs or bonuses are stacking, or to just understand the breakdown of an attack roll. There are many practice dummy targets in the game, but they don't actually work - it always does 0 dmg, and no details are given in the combat log. With the amount of enchantments that are broken in the game, this is extra useful. I've been carrying Mystra's Blessing for a while, only to just realize it mostly doesn't work!
  2. Some might say skill issue, but with the sheer number of concentration spells in everyone's spellbook, it would be amazing to be able to tell which spells are concentration and which aren't, at a glance. So the ideas: 1. A brightly colored border around the icons, in the spellbook and on the hotbar, signifying concertation spells, and/or a different color for the tooltip that appears when you hover over the icon for description. 2. (less important) Some way of reminding you that you're already concentrating, when aiming another con. spell. Possibly highlight the words "Concentration" with the same glowing red effect that appears around "Level x Spell" while out of spell slots. Ideally, it would just say something next to your cursor, the same way it shows hit percentage and other contextual info, but that seems harder to create. Just making the tiny concentration icon under your portrait glow with a bright color would be a huge improvement in that regard. Idk about you, but I cast con. spells on top of existing ones all the time, and it's not a good moment. But even without that, I feel like #1 would be universally enjoyed, and a highly popular improvement.
  3. I am personally very baffled at how EVERY longbow has those thick nail-shaped arrows stuck into it. Looks pretty awful, ruins the beauty of the bow. The spiky protrusions by the center, part of the wood itself, are fine, but the metal bits...bizarre. You can even see how the bow they made the bow part first, complete with lovely metal details, and then stuck the "nails" into it without even blending it together well. Would love to see someone with a similar love for bows remove those things!
  4. Honestly, I would settle for some hireling packs created by others, too. Kinda surprised no one's made any. The default ones are all kinda strange (except the asian girl). I would LOVE to contribute to a mod like that design wise, but I know nothing about modding...
  5. On second thought, just clicking makes it fast enough. Wish I knew how to delete this, my bad.
  6. Hey, since every mod I have has working IDs to nexus, is it possible to have my profile save them, so when I get a new PC, it can download them all again? I can't really find this kind of feature or info about it.
  7. Seriously, it makes me physically sick. I don't know why they added this to the vertical boost, too. I can't be the only one who feels this way! Thoughts?
  8. There's been a mod that adds some cool orc hairstyles for use by females of other races, could we have one like that for males? Orcs have a whole bunch of really cool, exclusively unique hairdos, which is kinda not fair if i want to look tight and not be a monster. The main reason that's driving me to request are all the ponytails, like the ones that come out of a bald head; they look really cool, and i haven't played a game before that allows me to have those. I really want to rock those because i'm Ukrainian, and a lot of those ponytails look quite a lot like the signature hairstyle of the Ukrainian Cossacks (badass dudes back in the day that spent all their lives fighting off invaders, drinking honey vodka and kicking ass), i'd love to roleplay one so yeah, por favor, i'd be hella gratefull
  9. oh cool, thanks for the prompt response that i promptly didn't notice, i'll try doing that
  10. Not sure if it's the best forums, but i need help from someone who's got experience with audio files, music specifically. Is there any way to like, take a song from one category and add it into a diff one? Like take a song from the town loop and add it into the exploration loop? I feel like simply moving it from a folder wouldn't work, would I have to rename the file to something or...wha? But even more basic, where the hell are the music files? I've got Win7 and i have the show hidden folders n files selected but i cant find em Any help is appreciated
  11. f*** yes sir, that's exactly what i needed. I knew there's a console command, just couldn't find it anywhere. you have my gratitude
  12. You might argue that it'll make the game easier and it's already easy enough but no, it won't make it easier at all since it's not hard at all - it's just really f***ing annoying, and completely unrewarding. You just have to pause combat constantly and click your mouse a bunch of times, it's a lame gimmick that needs to die...please... or at least like, Staves, im cool with recharging weapons that i enchanted, but a powerfull staff that i found shouldn't run out of juice every 15 shots... or you should be able to just like, press T on the weapon, and it automatically recharges it to full using your weakest soul gems and up. amirite?
