  1. WTH? Thats even worse than expected, so basically what if they 'never' reach the $100 bar? So basically steam gets all the profits and the modder gets nothing period? And if you suspect the -after- 75% is real then...the modders are getting completely shafted, this can't really be legal can it? O.o Yeah, it's absurd. I posted the links a few pages back, should have posted them again but here it is: http://i.imgur.com/ZvlIIe2.png http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/workshoppaymentinfofaq I'm assuming it's $100 after the 75% cut, but even if it isn't, that's still ridiculous. It's as you said, if they do not reach $400 in sales for their mod, they may not receive anything at all. It says may hold out until the minimum is earned, but knowing Valve, that means they simply will. Though I assume (hopefully) that you could request a payout regardless to get whatever you have earned, but who knows really? I don't see the point in it. I remember back when D3 had the RMAH, I was selling small amounts on the regular. I'd have 15-20 transactions a day, all under $2-5 each and it was never a problem.
  2. I just hope more of the modders who choose to take advantage of this carefully read the terms and services. The only positive spin on this - supporting modders - is killed when you do. They only receive 25% and the payout is only given after they've made over $100 on that specific item/mod. And you can bet that's likely $100 -after- the 75% cut, meaning they'd have to sell $400 worth of their mod before they see a dime. Ridiculous.
  3. So, the modders only receive 25% and did anyone happen to notice this? http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/workshoppaymentinfofaq http://i.imgur.com/ZvlIIe2.png And I bet that $100 is after the 75% cut, so $400. What a joke. I fully support modders, you guys are fantastic, but this is an absolute joke.
  4. I'm not entirely sure what he meant by combination.. but I'm almost positive a major one would be Immersive Patrols.
  5. Also, take into account the fact that a lot of the people who were playing Fallout 3, Fallout: NV, Oblivion, etc. switched to Skyrim when it released. Sure, some users may go back to the other games, but it'll never have the amount of activity it had even a week before Skyrim came out.
  6. Well, I'm not sure they're continuing this. Haven't seen or heard anything about it for quite a long time now. Good news is, someone (ripvanwinkle111) who helped create the original RTS series for Fallout 3 and New Vegas has started a project RTS in Skyrim. Here's the link: RTS for Skyrim. Be aware, it is a WIP although his rate has been tremendous. He's open to suggestions, but if a feature you like (especially if it's one from the FO RTS mods) isn't listed, it's very likely that he has it in his plans and is working towards adding it. So far, it's looking great and has incredible potential, largely due to his dedication to it. Enjoy, and be patient :)
  7. Same. Haven't checked on this in awhile, wondering if anyone who's helping or seriously following it has an update of any kind. Would be great to know, good or bad :)
  8. Also, for anyone looking forward to this and mostly to the team developing it - Please, be patient. If the aim is to create something similar, or even greater, than the Real Time Settler mod for Fallout, it'll definitely take time. It's no easy task, I know. I'd rather y'all take as much time as you need to ensure it goes according to plan. I hope I speak for everyone when I say you have our support on that. -I'm not sure if this is considered a double post since my post before this one was created five days ago, but I apologize in case it is. Feel free to delete the first one or something if need be. Thanks.
  9. Aye! You have no idea how excited I was when I saw this one posted. RTS was one of my favorite, if not my favorite, mods for FO3/NV. A lot of time spent playing with it hahaha.
  10. Great news, thanks! If testers are needed (or any help possible for that matter), I'm willing to do so when I have time from school.
  11. Hope to hear more from this mod now that the CK will be released soon. Keep it up guys, you have a solid crowd behind you! Perhaps things can get sorted out with the Nexus admin so it can be posted here. If not, at least the Steam Workshop will be up as well.
  12. I doubt it, not the way he worded it. Would be good and bad if so, though. Bad that PC users have to wait, good that we know it's on the way.
  13. There's one in the works, Skyrim Global Evolution. The lead-developer for it was banned on here for some reason (arguments from both sides about whether it was just or not, I have no idea). A fan of the mod re-uploaded on here, though. It has great potential and a lot of people are on-board, they just have to wait for the CK to release before they can really do anything. 14. Try the mod Better Magic. I personally don't do the whole -100% cost thing because I find it kind of.. cheap, and boring. But, that's just me.
