  1. Turns out the entire problem was my computer setup. After a factory reset to the Windows default and not my Acer recovery drive default, I can download SKSE64 just fine. Either that, or this really was an issue. Odd.
  2. Sorry. Didn't mean to go on the offensive. And installing it manually just brings up the same label before enabling. "Skyrim - The Forgotten Worlds." Also, I just now found a "trailer" for something of the same name, and to be honest, I find it a bit suspicious.
  3. Skse64 has been hacked. Again. This time they've given it the name "Skyrim - The Forgotten Worlds." And no, it's not something "unique to my system" seeing as how the problem was traced to a foreign mod page the last time. Trying to install SKSE64 through Vortex results in an error message saying "Certificate has expired", as well as one saying the archive is broken after inputting the "Vortex API" into your Vortex program (here's hoping i didn't put a friggin' virus onto my system...).
  4. @HadToRegister I do all the download methods. Erratic, I know.
  5. @HadToRegister I downloaded the archive to my PC and dragged it to Vortex's bottom box in the mod page. That will leave you with an uninstalled mod with a blue button next to it prompting to install the mod. Had I downloaded it via the Vortex prompt, it would have skipped straight to installing the mod to green "Enabled" status.
  6. @HadToRegister Installed, yeah. I actually went along with installing the pack, and it will say what it should. It's the out there name beforehand when only the archive is there with uninstalled data that is concerning.
  7. (Possibly) Playing a joke on the Skyrim community at the core foundation of modding. You tried, infantile Bethesda haters.
  8. @1ae0bfb8 Nothing "out there" (nsfw, etc.) going on in my setup. You can see only 4 Vortex mods, but I didn't have any mod setup in any other mod manager elsewhere either. I suspect something was hacked, and a practical joke was played on the TES community.
  9. @rmm200 Did that, but not under any "editor" pretext. Didn't find anything. I suspect something was hacked, and a practical joke was played on the TES community.
  10. I installed SKSE64 into Vortex via downloading it from http://skse.silverlock.org/ , and the name that showed up for the installed mod was: MoistGay I promise I am not trolling. And I know that image proof is pretty much useless. You'd have to download and install it into Vortex yourself, unless it no longer applies now. I wanted to bring attention to this just in case there is some manner of malicious code involved in the current SKSE64 build at the regular download link.
  11. Simple question: When not using mods of any sort except SKSE64, will its scripts have any impact on your playthrough?
  12. A chance for free Steam content? Of course!
  13. This is a great way to help usher in more involvement with any one of the games Nexusmods supports, and keep gaming thriving in general. Thank you for your kindness. :D
