  1. As to modding, why (..) dont you go for it yourself ? By now and since quite some time, we (community) have both tutorials (video, text, online) et supports places (official forum CK, Dark's for example of good places, here to, on a somewhat lower efficiency. "NPC creation tutorial" "Modding Skyrim - Scripter's Edition" Etc.

Welcome Paul, given the role will be mostly hidden, and that the modding "world" will go toward quite some "changes" in the months & years to come, expanding the staff with trustee and capable people is indeed quite needed (in case, make sure you go for some common experiences be it nature or others "high" initiative/responsability involving situations, this as to allow cooperations, each others update as to status & others settings. (Still, in all case, getting to know each others "otherwise"). Which said, do not forget to debrief from time to time. These days, interfaces & codes are evolving, while not on the main square, still over a pretty nice curve. To be seen.

Yes, knowing the mod is at last alive is always a good thing, as otherwise, both new interest & renewed attention (not to forget that the topic get buried quite quick given activity around) = no real question there. Update either on a shedule and or as to progress made (guess it is better to bump the topic even if no progress is made but as to let know the mod is still a current topic). This also help both develloper(s) & users; as on both side, motivation is linked to the activity. As previously said, looking forward update/release :)

Same here, still, as it is internet, Providers (not common, but might happen), software (damn that auto lock out function !), then the most common being hardware related, where access to component + software is key. To be seen and yes, some sleep is mandatory as to any intelligence based activity, to be seen later on then.

That said, it is early as to modding, still, if people ask for, it could be possible ? In all case, if the community get on board and support crowfunded RPG, having them go for the release of a CK would not be that of a worry/lock point. Then, Steam ? If anything, a very bad news, facility & lesser results (search + access to mods (category ?) ..), the only (it is ?) good point would be the "new" peoples it allowed to open to RPG. To be seen, but if all go dark, OpenMW & others community created games will be what I will be following upon.
  6. Hello, Seem given status, out of a console command (as to launch next part) this campaign is lost ? So, Arrived to Caslte Redcliffe, discussion with Eamon, Anora, Riordan etc = alright. Scene once on the second floor = Alistair (my male noble should/would be marrying Anora, not sure what happened, as Eamon registered it, why did not Morrigan ? (I know, mod conflict + limitations). From there, a scene between PC & Morrigan in the PC room, alright but after that one = nothing left to do/no way out either.. Any idea as to how to handle next step ? Thanks !

Pas si simple. So, just now we (community) have two paths : - Classical, and until some years, the only one, credits from non gamer, send along limitation & instruction (read order/rules), Programmers, who as to RPG, have quite often if not always have RPG (be it table or PC) background, cannot do as they want, albeit some case (Planescape Torment & Baldurs Gate come to mind). - Second way = "independence", be it from crow-funding, or otherwise (so far, otherwise = ? Still, could happen I guess). In that way, time & others conditions are quite open, even what P Mollineux said some days ago (Crow-funding, what a pain, never do it from start of production !, quite some games are so far been started very early, if not previous to any devellopments (out of code & renders). Which said, the options are open, knowing that we have over 10 studios (group of peoples) who chosen so far that second track, with over 70+ individual devellopers getting money aswell.. So, if future over TES/Bethesda = pay for mods = bye. These days, with the Total war (what a way to go, limit the number of troops, why, if economy can support ??), then, Dragon Age, since inquisition = console games, ported with the less care to PC, bringing (ho, Skyrim to, see the vanilla interface) limitations on the way. Two days for Pillars of eternity, then, some more months for the next one, in any case, with openMW coming, Oblivion & Skyrim being (community) supported (so far) with tools & mods, hm.µ To be seen.

  10. For now, asking as to how to solve conflict between mods. Of course, they are several type of cases : - graphicals - scripts - dialogues So far, informations as how to handle each type are quite difficult to locate (how come this has not been made a pinned topic here years ago ?). So, for now, opening the thread (and, sorry as to "thread necromancy", given activity and that that thread was the lone returning as to "conflict".. As progress are found, I'll see to update it, so it may be a resource later on. Thanks all for reading (that would be the first step). Tbs.
  11. Could some tell how to go as to .dlg, .mor and others type of files who has potentially a lot of entry to compare ? Guess that if possible to export the content to .xml, Notepad++ could do the trick, but then, how to add in back into a useable file for the game ? Seem some peoples have knowledge as to modding/conflicting files resolve, but so fare, data seem to be scarce..
  12. If you have screens, create the mod page, no need to have a file directly, but at least would you have more coverage that this .. (I was tracking Riften Dephts, but, since months after my last check, this is gone and replaced by this mod, and so, to late I guess. (Skyrim is lacking in large way as to real sub teraan mods, even Blackreach is not that much modded either..) This said, this mod is looking fine to, so, no reason. Hope you are doing well by the way. While at it, a suggestion :wink: Just in Time Lighting http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10361 Tutorial of how to use scripts to eliminate "flickering" of dynamic lights when there are more than 4 near the player. (Very usefull + beautifull, allow to avoid the bug often encoutered into interiors).   13. Windows 8, all installed right until the 1.5 update to the GECK. Error non specified while displaying the geckreadme.txt file on the update progress part. Tried to use the file from this thread, using ZIP & installer, a 1.5 direct install, error & again.
  14. Three years later, I guess it is quite to late, still, advskill <skill name> <qty> Try to use that console command to force reset of the skills value to base. Otherwise, a reinstall could have helped to.
