  1. I saw the mod once but it was horribly early when my computer could barely play this game. Now I have a stronger machine but can't find the mod nor remember where where I saw it before. (it was featured in a youtube vid if that helps) The mod in essence used souls as an extra life system. You get killed, it would use the soul to revive you. Going to try to put down all I remember. You collect filled grand soul gems. I don't know if it had to be black soul gems or just grand. It didn't use dragon souls I don't think. In order for it to work. You had to go to a specific place and sacrifice the filled gems to an tablet or alter and it would keep count of the number sacrificed. Those amounted to your extra lives. Your hp gets wiped and you go through an animation before you get back up having used one of those stored lives. That is as about as clear as I can remember it. For the life of me, I cannot remember what this was called or find it. My search foo is far too weak for this task.

  3. This is more of a question then anything. I've seen a few high heel shoes. Platform shoes. and so on, so forth but I don't really see all that many dresses that don't come with there own shoes. As such... Could someone direct me to some dresses, clothing, and / or armor that have no shoes that would fit some of these high heels and other shoes? I would say I'm basicly wanting a complete outfit that just doesn't look like a mish mash of stuff cobbled together. My warriors may were armor but my lady mage like to dress with style. ... or something like that.
  4. Can anyone make it possible to use the rename function of enchanting without having to enchant the item first?
  5. I am a simple person... with a difficult problem. I like themed characters. I seek to end the civil war with MC Hamorc, I seek to create the Dual Great Axe Wielding Barbarian Female Bill the Mighty. But one thing I wish to create I cannot find the mod(s) to pull off. The Dragon Slayer Woody Treeson. A man decked out in wooden armor. Wielder of the worlds deadliest wooden weapons. He shall boldly go fourth into the world to slay the fire breathing creatures in the finest armor nature can buy. There are mods that make it easier to go unarmed and/or unarmored and while you can super a wooden sword. It just doesn't feel right to not have the armor and/or shield to with it. It is just not complete. A wood knight is just not a knight with the sword alone. So I, a skill less gamer with no talent for modding at all, humbly ask that someone with create this armor. Be it for challenge, or simple humor, create a set of armor composed entirely of wood. Maybe a wood nymph will thank you for it... or trying to kill you for chopping up her trees... Lets hope for the first part.
  6. I'm trying to establish a budget which is why I'm asking. What I'm working with now is; AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4 GB Ram and an NVIDIA GeForce GT520 Which is kind of old.... like really old. I haven't even the slightest idea how far I can take my motherboard much less what kind of shape its in. I just know it and/or the processor are craping out on me. It's gotten to the point that pretty much any game I play, even if it says I should play fine on medium level details, it horrible pushes my cpu and eventualy crashes my computer, and that includes skyrim. The surest way to do is prepare to build up a new machine but I don't know how much (the range) I should gather/save/hope for in order to get a machine that can play my games without falling over like a 200 year old man.
  7. The short version: I'm looking to build a new computer for gaming and other things and need to know what I should look for. Long Version: My cpu and mother bother are more then likely dying on me. My machine is fairly old. I'm hoping to save up to a new franken computer but I really need to know what hardware I should aim for to keep playing games. In my current mind set. I'm hoping to know what level of stuff I would need to; 1. Play games like skyrim on the highest or next to highest graphic setting possible and maybe be able to broadcast it on twitch or record game play at the same time without a huge impact on my machine. 2. Be able to play my games without giving my computer a heart attack. I can tell you now it's not possible with my current machine which is fine. Gives me a chance to regulate it to a work machine rather then a gaming / DvD rig.
  8. AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ 2.91 GHz 4.00 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 Err what all information am I looking for? Would some of the things that go into the MCM be considered script heavy?
  9. I have but little choice but play the game in burst. The reason, because the game puts considerable stain on my cpu for some reason. I've started actively monitoring my cpu usage and found at base it drive the usage all the way up to 80+% and at times when around some people goes further and nails 100. If it holds on the 100 for too long the game itself crashes or my computer crashes. So I'm trying to find mods that might help the performance by doing something that might lower the assualt on my cpu. My efforts.... suck so I'm asking the professionals now. Can anyone direct me to any mods that might let me enjoy the game longer then 10 minutes at a time?
  10. I really wish I could remember what it was called. It was an awesome set up I never got to play with :(
  11. I know the mod existed at one point but for the life of me I can't find it nor remember what it was called. Here is what it was post to do. Mind you this will disorganized and might be wrong is some spots. What it did was sort of a rewrite on weapons and ingots. Ingots could be seperated into heavy or refined catagories then made into weapons that were heavier but balanced to do more damage, or lighter making them slightly weaker but faster swings. That's an extremely rough idea of what the mod was. I liked the idea but at the time my computer couldn't handle the game. I think you could still make the normal stuff, you just had the option to make more refined in some way weapons. I'm fairly sure I saw it on the nexus as this was the first modding community I stumbled across.
  12. There quite a few follower/companion mods but they all are fairly complacated adding tons of stuff. I'm not really looking for all that much. I just want to know if there is a mod that lets me toggle just the essential on the follower I'm partnered with. I just want to make that partner sturdy(ier) if they more death prone then I can handle. I think there are magic mods that ressurrect npcs and I'm willing to go with that but then I worry if that runs the risk of making the follower in question go buggy and not following you or previous relationship (if any) being erased. Essential or abaility to ressurect. I'm looking for eather or. Could you help someone who tires of being the lonely traveler.
  13. I shall keep the idea short and simple. I recall seeing a mod that lets you rip the heart out of an enemy when they are in the weakened animation that happens when they are near death. Something I had been considering is the chance to capture enemies while they are like that and be rewarded for it. The general idea without extra detail is they are wounded, near death, vulnerable at that moment. You can listen to the plees for mercy and capture them in some way that transports them to prison. A side effect being you gain a reward for the capture of a bandit. Seeing these are regular bandits/rogue magi, not high enough to earn a bounty from a yarl. Still, someone will be happy they are off the roads and no longer a danger. Now, taking the idea further. You get a prison that you can visit the cells and see who you caught within that last for a couple of days before they disappear and the space is emptied. Sort of like they serve their prison time and were released/relocated/beheaded.
  14. I, personally, am not a modder beyond finding great works made by modders. Which I think you for by the way. I am a mostly silent player of games who tries to keep to himself but this question has been eating at me for a bit. I slap a couple of race mods that as they state add a new-ish race to play with and while takes one of the few moments of reading further then a glance over a question appeared. An example if poor one would be the Temptress Race that got the question plopped in my head. Now for the races that have no links to the vanilla races thus no vanilla dialog additions, I can understand but for the races like Temptress and others, with their race being a relation or off shoot of one of the vanilla. Why not have them registered as the vanilla in question?
