  2. Hello, I have been wanting to dress up my readme for the description field by adding images and colored text. I have seen this done on several mods but have not been successful using Word, notepad, wordpad, or ultraedit. Is there a tutorial for this or a specific editor that works? Thanks, mrbarista
  3. I have created a new mod that accesses another mod through a door. The door selection for teleporting between the two seems to be fine. The yellow markers are visible in each cell. The problem occurs when in game I access the first door to travel to the next, the player ends up in an empty cell with just the second selected door. Nothing else renders. I finalized the navmesh in both areas without errors. This did not have any effect. If anyone has had this issue or knows a solution to it I would appreciate any input. Thanks, mrbarista
  4. I am just beginning to use blender and nifskope. In all of my online searches, I have not been able to locate the animation files (.kf ?) for non character objects. For example, the detonator briefcase. If someone could direct me to these files it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, mrbarista
  5. Hello all, I am currently finishing up a mod that includes a vehicle. I have completed the remesh in blender but do not have the skills to remap the texture. I am using the vanilla texture files. Is there anyone who can help me with this or refer me to a modeller who can. Thanks, mrbarista
  6. I am currently trying to activate an explosion effect using an xmarker. The syntax is: xmarker.placeatme effect This is in the quest script. I have placed a tag message to show me when I play the game that the script has executed past this code. The thing is nothing happens. Do I place the xmarker exactly where I want the effect to be? I have tried several different approaches in placing the xmarker and nothing seems to work. Hopefully someone can give me some insight. May all your dreams be caffeinated! mrbarista

  8. I am attaching a screenshot of the render window. Around the perimeter of the window there is thin red line. I think it probably means there is an error in the render but cannot find any documentation to confirm that or how to solve it.
  9. I am currently creating a new mod and have noticed that when I render there is a red edge in the render window. Does anyone know what this is and what it means? Thanks, mrbarista
  10. I am looking for the DLC04LighthouseFXMarker. Is there a specific way to find the x markers by name or is it a crapshoot in finding them? If anyone comes across this marker or knows how to find it please let me know. Thanks, mrbarista
