Due to real life (pesky thing) I haven't been active with modding for ages, so last year I passed on the caretaking and decisionmaking in regards to Do It Yourshelf to damanding! Custom mesh crashes CK when trying to open it

Not sure if it's still relevant, (as this post is fairly old) but did you try to right click the cinderblock -> block -> convert -> BSTriShape? That sometimes does the trick for me when CK mysteriously crashes :P
