  1. This shouldn't be in the mod requests and your images aren't working.
  2. First of all, I was googling for a link that was about the same thing (intending to post it on the Skyrim nexus forum) and decided to help out. I have zero experience on FNV (only made mods for skyrim) modding but since it uses nif-files too this might help. Try to separate the mesh and import it into so that it is in two separate NiTriShapes. The number of tris (or vertices) is limited and if the count goes over it, parts of it disappear. Hope that helps :) - Wiikki
  3. I'm not entirely sure if this helps but while I was making one a hammer for the set I'm working on I stumbled upon a pretty strange problem. When I imported the model into a nif file, everything was the way it was ment to be. Once I tested it in-game parts of the meshes were gone leaving holes in the mesh. After a while of googling I found a thread on Niftools forum that was about the same problem I had. The reason why it was happening was that there is a maximum number of vertices (or tris, sorry can't remember. ) that you can have in one NiTriShape. After having separated the mesh it worked without problems. Lilith's Slayer (spear version) has about 85k tris (in 2 parts in the nif) and works without problems. The fact that you have the exclamation mark there probably is because of something else though. - Wiikki
  4. Hello there. I was getting with this bug I just bumped into. I've been playing DA:O for about 40 hours now and I entered Orzammar not too long ago. The bug I'm facing is that my characters have very little stamina for some reason. Leliana has 0/0 and my main character which is a scout has 50/50 (will go down to 0/0 if I take her boots off as they give +50 stamina bonus) and morrigan has 85 mana. I believe this might have something to do with the proving grounds but can't say or certain. I can't exactly say when the reduction happened. I've tried disabling all the downloadable content as well as mods and force loaded the save but still no changes. My latest save that doesn't have this problem is 4 hours away from my current progress so I'd rather not load that. Party members I haven't used for a while don't have this issue. Would be appreciated if someone could help me out with this issue. - Wiikki edit: In the older saves my main character has over 200 stamina so there's definitely something strange going on here. Furthermore, I've googled this issue and couldn't find anything that's similar to my case. Edit2. found the reason why this happened. During the quest "unbound" and more specificly after the fight my stats stamina/mana got reduced. I was able to evade this by just killing him with a console command.
  5. That should be doable but if the hair mesh is bigger than the hood, it will clip through. As far as I know there wouldn't have to be any modeling involved. Just by disabling the biped node from the hood's "profile"( or what ever it's called) in creation kit and voila the hair should be there.
  6. Hahaa! Problem solved! All thanks to you :D It appears the problem here was a lot more fundamental which isn't really a strange thing. I started using blender like a few weeks back with the help of the tutorials found on the blendercookie.com and done a few mods already. When i read the post I had no idea what a smoothing group is (or a had a non-existent hunch). In other words, I hadn't even used them. After a bit of googling I found an explanation and tried it out. voila problem disappeared :) Thanks a lot for helping me out (kudos for you both!). Realising the meaning of smoothing group will help me a lot in the future :P
  7. I've run across a nasty "bug" in my new custom weapon The black parts on the edge are meant to look like the rest of it but just for some reason it's not working out. I've tried checking all the texture maps and the model itself for the reason but so far without success. Help would be appreciated :) Edit: This "bug" is mainly a problem at night (or dark places). Also, it's not much of a trouble in the 1st person view but once you change to 3rd person you can see it very clearly like you can see in the pictures below. http://users.metropolia.fi/~tommiw/crap/tex%20bug.png from a different view: http://users.metropolia.fi/~tommiw/crap/redikirves2.png without textures: http://users.metropolia.fi/~tommiw/crap/texbugnotex.png
