Eh I will not ever buy a game from the MS store unless I have to because it only available there, even then I might just skip it, and that is the issue many see coming or fear will come eventually. It wouldn't be the first time MS force exclusivity to peddle their own platform. We as gamers have been told far, far too many times that XYZ wont ever happen by gaming companies and then down the line after a few years it happens....... I am an old whippersnapper so I wont get excited about it I will just talk with my wallet whether it changes anything or not

  3. This here above worked for me. (Deleting the ModData folder in the game folder) I rebuilt my PC and went from a i5-750 to a ryzen 5800x and had some trouble with getting the game to work again. This however is due to certain things like: ~ I had to go change the file path of the game in the FMM ini to point at my new game folder path. ~ I had to redo some exceptions in my A/V for the game itself. ~ Finally once the game was starting normally to get the FMM to launch the game again (using FMM1.0.3.1) I had to delete the ModData folder in the game folder and let it reacquire admin rights etc Game is now launching again for me on windows 10 20H2, before I was on w7. Didn't have to reinstall anything just do the things above. Oh I may have reinstalled net framework and visual c++ but I had done that already for some other games. EDIT: Game launches via FMM with no mods but with some mods it just seems to hang after applying mods, going to have to do a painstaking test of checking which mods are causing issues now..... got this fixed now and game loads with all mods. Had to also download two AnselSDK6.dlls and put these in the game folder, got them here: https://github.com/zeroKilo/MEAExplorerWV/tree/master/AnselSDK64/Release "AnselSDK64: add these dlls to main game folder to enable modding/signature bypassing" I was getting a save game error saying I did not have the DLC and what fixed it for me was unchecking the windows 7 compatibility on the game exe and my old saves started working again.
  4. Could anyone point me in the direction of where I need to look to modify the duration of buff both from spells, rags and varnish? I have downloaded something called dnspy which lets me look at assmebly-CSharp.dll and I can look at {} - namespace but not sure what to look for once here.
  5. Some awesome mods have gone up this week...well done you guys/gals! Next one I would really like to see is a mods to change the duration of spell and buffs. For example: duration of rags and varnish effects duration of spells like "protection" rune magic combo durtion of "infuse wind" duration of "call to elements" etc etc. There are mods tweaking duration of cool downs which is great but would be awesome not to have to use rags/spells every couple mins... :)

I would love a wizard palemaster like they have in DDO who is a wiz that is undead and focuses on necromancy, not like in some games where that means summoning a bunch of undead critter to fight for them, but has different spells which are necro based. Level 1: Hypnotism, Jump, Expeditious Retreat, Feather Fall , Merfolks, Night shield (Clicky), Level 2: Blur, Knock, Web, Resist Energy, Gust of Wind Level 3: Displacement, Rage, Haste, Magic Circle Against Evil, Fireball (for opening doors) Level 4: Negative Energy Burst, Death Aura, Crushing Despair, Dimension Door, Phantasmal Killer (Scroll: Fire shield, Enervation) Level 5: Niac's Biting Cold, Eladar’s Electric Surge, CloudKill, Teleport, Mind Fog (Scroll: Break enchantment) Level 6: Circle of Death, Death to Undeath, Chain Lightning, Necrotic Ray,Disintegrate, (Scroll: Shadow Walk, Stone to Flesh, Greater Heroism) Level 7:Mass Invisibility, Finger of Death, Mass Hold Person, Otto's Sphere of Dancing, Waves of Exhaustion, Banishment (Situational) (Scroll: Greater Teleport) Level 8: Symbol of Death, Otto's Irresistible Dance, Polar Ray, Black Dragon Bolt, Power word: Stun or Trap the Soul and Sunburst ( FOT) Level 9: Power Word: Kill, Mass Hold Monster, Energy Drain, Wail of the Banshee, Dominate Monster or Meteor Swarm
  7. Nice and I agree the potatoes are indeed really brutal to look at..lol I would like to see a map mod that let us see where we are. I think it would be a very nice QOL mod! WISH HAS COME TRUE YAY!
