  1. I'm broke and heck, so this is just the little bit of hope I need to get something this sale :P
  2. Minor update, I can Download with Manager (Mod Organizer, to be exact), but manual downloads still give me the 403 error, at least they did last time I tried. Edit: So I can't believe I didn't realize it could be causing problems earlier, but I've been using a plugin for Chrome called Data Saver, which loads pages on google servers before sending compressed versions to my browser, to prevent myself from hitting my data cap, and I've since disabled it. Clearly that was causing problems with the download servers, and I feel like a fool for not seeing the connection earlier. To add insult to injury, according to the extension, it's only saved me about 2MB of data in the past month x.x
  3. Thank you, I was mostly just wondering if it was a global bug, or something on my end. I very recently switched to a new IPS, so I'll try fiddling around with my internet settings, to see if it's doing anything weird with IPs.
  4. So I know this has been a common/recurring bug for some members, but I've been encountering it non-stop for the past week or so, preventing me from accessing any files on the site, and I've been unable to find anybody within the past year having the same problem. The error shows up whenever I try to manually download any file on the site (I haven't been able to test it with a mod manager, yet). Clicking the download link brings up the typical server list pop-up, then I get redirected to a page including the text "403 Forbidden" followed by "nginx/1.11.5" (screenshot attached). I've tried changing my preferred download location from the CDN to North America - Premium, assuming it might be a problem with the CDN, but the error persists. I was mostly wondering if anyone else was having their error, or if it might be client-side, or a problem with my ISP or router.
  5. I love complex, but most of the items used end up being unseen by the player in the end, and they crank up the settlement size limit (even with mods that increase it tenfold), so I'm going to vote for simple, but not to the degree that it's basically the vanilla. Probably not the best comparison, but Snap 'n' Build has a good balance, maybe something slightly more detailed/complex than that.
  6. So if nobody's mentioned this yet, it looks like Bethesda rolled Fallout 4 back to the previous version, because people were reporting it breaking the game. From the looks of it, though, most of the people reporting the game as broken were doing it because of their F4SE being out of date, so yeah...
  7. The dedicated work of this site's staff is very admirable, and precisely why I bought a lifetime membership. It's so refreshing seeing people like you in charge of this site.
  8. So has anyone found a solution to this? I've been unable to finish a quest because the reward is a unique item that crashes the game when you see the preview for it. I'd be fine if there was a mod that forced inventory previews and item inspection not to load to avoid this bug. Edit: So I think I may have found a fix. Is anyone else using the Optimized Textures mod? Because I uninstalled that and now everything is working. Although I did also rebuild my merged patch in FO4Edit, but I've done that several times before and still got the crashes.
  9. As someone who runs the game on a 2GB GTX 960, I can say that it just barely is able to scrape by on medium-high settings, with rather large lag spikes (even with the shadow draw distance fix and ENBoost), so I'd suggest saving up the money for at least a 970 or other GPU of that caliber. That should be able to handle most of the game with max settings, barring a few options, at 60 FPS.
  10. From what I understand, MO2's intergrated LOOT is broken, so you'll have to download LOOT manually and run it through Mod Organizer.
  11. How many plugins do you have installed?
  12. I've been having a very similar (and probably related) problem, but with select items from the Automotron DLC. I can't look at the preview for the Sentry Bot Helmet and Mechanist Suit without getting a ctd. I've only noticed this happening after I installed Wasteland Workshop (along with the unofficial SK/Homemaker patch for it). Edit: So I tried disabling the patch, still happened, so then I disabled the DLC, and it still happened. I did not have this problem at all before the day I got Wasteland workshop, and didn't install any other mods between when it worked and didn't, so I'm honestly stumped.
  13. In response to post #10252176. #10252894, #10253016, #10253371 are all replies on the same post. I actually have to agree. Blocking downloads is a bit extreme. Even if it's someone who is causing trouble, I don't see how they would hurt anyone by downloading the mod...
  14. In response to post #8294163. #8314121 is also a reply to the same post. Ha, one of my favorite episodes ^^
  15. I've been following this site for almost three years now, and I feel bad for not getting premium yet. Next chance I get, I will, though. Especially if it means helping you afford a server upgrade, because things have been rather slow, lately.
