  1. Hello Guys, Today I come to ask of you guys from the nexus forum for help regarding using "beauty overhaul" mod which involves a lot of complications and difficulties for those who have just starting to get sick of vanilla appearance and begin to try modding npcs' or the player's appeal. (I'm one of them sadly) Okay so to begin with, my first attempt to overhaul Skyrim is XP32 Maximum Skeleton I do not know exactly what this does beyond "allowing skeletons to be modified extensively, further than vanilla allows" I do know that this is required for body mods and animation mod. Dimonized UNP Better Males (Still looking for a slim & clean scholar-type body for young adult male btw) Soo, I one of my first understanding is that using body mods would only allow a specific body armor (in this case UNP) to be worn to show the body, otherwise the body will revert to vanilla Questions: 1. So what is the overall implications of using this body mod? What modding paths are opened and what kind of mods are blocked off to me now? My very basic understanding is that armor overhauls that don't use UNP will be rendered unusable, while breast physics mod becomes available to apply (I think they mentioned that vanilla body isn't compatible) 2. How does Skyrim handle skin color and skin complexion? If I have a clean body mod, would my skin that shows through the armor change according to the armor used (unp vs vanilla) or according to the body itself? Since armor isn't applied over skin, instead changes the body, right? For the face, I use: Coverwoman This is just a prerequisite for the next mod Inhabitants of Skyrim - NPC Overhaul I prefer this mod because it offers to beautify Skyrimites without eliminating the "hardy look" which suites their voices better, instead of mods that just outright change every npc to a supermodel or "Chinese fantasy-mmorpg-cover girls"(that often annoyingly appears in pop-up adds) but this is just my preference. No need to make a whole debate into what is considered beautiful in Skyrim; already did the whole "what is beauty" thing in ToK class.(which got A btw but I digress) Question: 1. Soo... again, what does beauty mods like these change? would I need a whole set of matching body type mod along with the armor mod or does it only change the face? Currently my basic understanding is that any and all edits made to an npc affected by this mod after the mod in the load order would revert npc look back to vanilla. Compatibility patch between IoS NO and USKP along with Immersive Armor exists however. Luckily, they did not alter the look of followers, allowing me to use another mod to alter follower face called: SBF - Skyrim Beautiful Follower (+ SG Female Retex) Okay, I admit, caught red-handed, that yes, this mod does indeed definitely make your followers super-models and fantasy looking. And no, I do not have any excuse. I just fell in love with their Iona look at first sight. And at this stage I could no longer resist to download. No judging please! (I changed her voice though to better fit her new look) One of the horrors of Body and Head/Face modding is neck seams, and skin color. I've had an incident where Auriel's bow malfunctioned and rained down harmful ultraviolet rays that turned most of the skyimites severely tanned (dark brown skin). Ok not really, but that bug horrified me and now I'm reinstalling(hence the questioning). Question: 1. The mod does say that it only affected the face, so I presume head/face changing is compatible with any body type? 2. However the mod blatantly changes race, resulting in incompatibility with all mods that affect races. (Luckily I don't use any race mod since I'm using Ningheim) Are there any mod above that alters race? I'm quite lost regarding this. At the end of the day, I guess I am asking about the increased complexity and implication about these mods. If anyone here can explain the details of using these mods in each step or point me in the right guides I would be really grateful. Sorry for long post I guess, tired now lol.
  2. What did you soul teared? dragons resist it and draugr death lords need to be damaged first, otherwise it only reduce health on stronger opponents
