I'm currently dealing with this issue as well. Some mods freak out when installed using Vortex, as they will be too many levels too deep. There is no apparent reason for the "Vortex Mods" folder, unless you install mods manually outside of Vortex. Even then, non-nexus mods should and can still be installed through Vortex regardless. I might sift through the code and suggest a fix on Github.

Hi there everyone. Today I wanted to ask for some assistance extending Vortex, and I thought Discord would be a good place. However, according to the message I get when clicking the invite link, I've been banned. I'm fairly sure I have never been on that Discord server, so maybe it's an IP ban or something. Any ideas on what to do?

I would absolutely LOVE to see the K9000 or FIDO gun in Fallout 4. Anyone up for the challenge? I officially challenge thee! :)
