  1. Personally I go with fortify strength on everything I can. Strength affects things like encumbrance. It can be game breaking and weapon breaking if you have too much strength. I rarely use fortify health because of some of the bugs associated with it, Restore Health is the way to go imho. Restore Health was a godsend for my Vampire. She can walk around all day in the sun and not lose any health. :P
  2. One of my most surprising moments was when I found Doc Hoff's trade caravan in the silt pump pipes under the Jefferson Memorial. He seemed stuck there until I went past him and he followed me out. I killed all of the enclave in the Jefferson Memorial so they couldn't molest him and left him at the exit to the wasteland while I departed through the Taft Tunnels. Before this I had noticed the trade caravans were not moving in their usual pattern and thought one of them had been killed. After I found him and he followed me out, the caravans resumed their normal route rotation. I have no idea how he ended up in the silt pump pipes but I am glad that he could follow me out.
  3. MCA 7.0 has been released but MCA Names 6.1 won't work with it. I installed MCA 7.0 because the Keening Expansion by Automatic Hamster has been released and it requires MCA 7.0. So far I don't mind the bandits not being named for now but I do hope MCA Names will be updated.
  4. Go to HG EyeCandy Body and download the readme file that is second from the bottom. It has the manual install instructions in it. Good Luck it is well worth the time it takes to install. :woot:
  5. On one of my characters post Broken Steel and all DLC completed except Mothership Zeta her save file is 11,413 MB with around 130 mods. Her save at Vault 101 exit was 1,855 MB but I carry a lot of crap out of the vault to sell. My current file before Broken Steel with only Operation Anchorage completed and around 130 mods is 6,506 MB. His Vault 101 exit save was 1,927 MB. He also carried a lot of junk out of the vault. Thanks for making this post because I was wondering if my Fallout 3 saves were bloated because an advanced file with more mods that I am currently playing in Oblivion has an .ess save file of only 4,038 MB and an OBSE save file of 37 KB. Now I know my Fallout 3 saves are about average.
  6. I've never seen that happen. Could there be a mod or something else causing it. Things fall out of the sky in Fallout 3 for me but never in Oblivion.
  7. Not only is the Lock spell handy for raising Alteration and Security Skills quickly, I have found that it is a good way to mark all of the mines, caves and tombs that I have explored. After I am done exploring a mine, cave or tomb I will lock the outer door. When I go by it again I can easily see that I have cleared it if the door is locked.
  8. Tamriel Travellers also adds pack guars to certain merchants. I would like to see a pack guar mod like the pack mule mod.
  9. Sujamma and Restore Health potions can be very helpful in this situation or if you can Conjure a Meatshield like a Skeleton it can distract him for you.
  10. I've found the black gems , thanks I've also decided to do the DB road as I cant locate the thief guy after midnight in the imperial city. Richard Quickest way to join the Thief's Guild is get thrown in Jail for anything and then go to the Water Front to talk to the contact.
  11. That has happened to me before in a goblin cave. Not sure if it was Fatback Cave or not. I just thought I might have missed a couple of them the first time through or maybe they called for reinforcements.
  12. Thoroughly search Falcar's room in the guild hall. You should find something of great interest there. Do the Thief's Guild. Just make sure you are very sneaky and use some Illusion spells to boost your sneakiness. You will ggain Infamy in both the Thief's Guild and Dark Brotherhood and you have to live with that but there is a way to get rid of it.
  13. For me Vivec is my favorite city. After my first character acquired Saren Manor she made it her headquarters. It is a great house with three levels, plenty of storage, near all fast travel, has the advantage of a great city to explore and is fairly easy for a low level character to acquire. All of my characters have made Vivec their home base.
  14. I look for and use bare bones houses because I like to use Imperial Furniture Renovated to furnish them the way I want. Here are two you might like except they are not in the IC. Chorrol Basement Bruma Mountain Home I also found a nice uncluttered basement mod that I use that adds a large central basement that can be accessed from all of the Vanilla Houses. I'll see if I can dig up a link for you. I found the one I use and the Original one. All In One Basement Original All In One Basement
  15. Please correct me if I am wrong but I would think that since Skyrim was built on the old X360 and PS3 hardware ported to the pc that just about any decent out of the box office desktop available in the last year or so could run it. Notice I did not say run it on ultra but could run it. That is unless Skyrim is a really crappy port like some people have reported. I guess I really mean if a computer has about the same specs or better than the X360\PS3 then it should be able to run it. Is this the case or not?
