  1. Thread re-posted to proper section
  2. When I drop an OBJ into outfit studio, I see 6 materials. When I drop the same OBJ in Substance Painter it compacts the whole obj into one material. Why is this? When I export the OBJ from blender I do check on the "material groups" box when exporting the OBJ from blender.
  3. A problem that I often face when adding SMP to outfits is that in the border between the body's influence on the mesh, and the SMP's influence on the mesh it is NOT seamless. That is because the body and SMP bones do not have overlapping areas. I was wondering if anyone has a solution to this? So to put it simply: I have bone A. I have bone B. Each have bordering weights on the mesh, but no overlap between them. I want to make their weights overlap so both influence the same areas, with no more than 4 bones influencing a vertex. Ideally I'm looking for an automated solution. I have tried manually painting an overlap area (extending the SMP area into the body area) with the "normalize" paint option on in OS, but in game it doesn't fix the issue in game. It's not seamless (the mesh looks crooked where the border between SMP and body bones are) and it also gets corrupted where I tried to manually paint an overlap. By corrupted I mean that at certain angles you can't see those vertices.
