  1. Thank god like seriously with all due respect Dark0ne, your current ads here are not only intrusive but also extremely annoying. It's not even the auto playing sound ones that are the problem, those are the least of the worries... it is the ads that completely lag the browser to the point of not being able to type anything, click anything, etc. and then for the browser itself to say either "nexusmods.com is not responding due to a long running script." OR "nexusmods.com is not responding." just flat out not responding. I personally know everyone has to make money but other sites like Youtube have ads that are the complete opposite of intrusive and annoying and even if there were ads that have annoying sounds, lag the browser, and are about 2 minutes long, there is an option to skip the ad after 5 seconds. Anyways, this is good stuff though. I won't be around to see the change for about 13 weeks but I have faith in you.
  2. Get ready for this site to be flooded with hundreds of thousands of mods... with like 50% of them being perverted mods cough cough... animated sex is definitely one mod that WILL appear here.
  3. Ok I'm not sure if something changed but ever since I made my last comment on this, it seems like the ads have gotten even worse like now I can't seem to type and reply to people AT ALL and just now it tried to redirect me to one of those ads yet I didn't even hover over it let alone click on the ad. Now I have to make posts, replys, etc using my phone which is unacceptable. At this point I wish I had enough money to buy a lifetime premium membership because this is crazy and I'll be damned if my PC gets a virus by one of these ads.
  4. In response to post #35631002. #35631287, #35631317, #35631472, #35631577, #35632017 are all replies on the same post. My PC isn't bad either. But um... I can't mute the sound of these ads so I have to deal with annoyances Olivia Munn, Proactive, "Build your mighty empire" blah blah blah, etc.
  5. In response to post #35631002. #35631287, #35631317, #35631472 are all replies on the same post. It can become a major issue. I love the site and all the work you and your crew have put into making this site where it is today but these ads are a major annoyance. I even think that cintera.html thing I mentioned is what destroyed my previous windows vista pc a long time ago; I remember because I was trying to be an active member back when it was just fallout 3 and the beginning of New vegas, I was browsing, of course I had these ads, then all of a sudden that Pc got infected with something. I didn't have anti virus at that time so after a few months that PC never turned on again. That was the past now but this should say something if that one ad that may pop up turns out to be malicious and actually infects an unfortunate person's PC. Right now I had trouble even typing this reply because of these ads. Hope these ads get sorted whenever possible.
  6. In response to post #35631002. #35631287, #35631317 are all replies on the same post. So far I know that one of these ads that shows people playing soccer and shows a tablet at the beginning is causing me big slowdowns, I know it for a fact because it's always been consistent. Aside from that, a lot of the ads featuring Olivia Munn also give me slowdowns and that "Long running script" thing I just mentioned. Just have to check for the pattern.
  7. I keep getting these stupid ads that auto play sounds and noticeably slows down or flat out completely freezes my browser. So when I'm trying to upload screenshots I can't type because the ad is in the way and when I click my refresh button, it says "Nexus is not responding due to a long running script" so these ads seriously are the problem. Oh! and as a matter fact, multiple times my anti virus has actually picked up some file from one of these ads called "cintera.html". Expect a lot of reports from me. PS: I also forgot to mention that some of these ads increase my CPU and RAM usage, not saying it's horrible because I have an Intel i7-6700k @ 4.0 ghz and 16 gb ram but that's still not acceptable.
