  1. I know, it had lasted for well over a month, probably even two months and also happened after I got a new computer, and using other browsers didn't work either. But logging out as you suggested brought the page up... but stopped once I logged back in. But the day after posting about it, it starts working as it should... so I assumed you or one of your staff had done something. If that is not the case, very odd indeed. But it's working now so I'm certainly not looking a gift horse in the mouth.
  2. *Update* The problem seems to have been resolved and the Fallout 4 main page displays as it should. Thank you for your help.
  3. It works if I log out but stops working once I log back in. Odd. What does that mean, and how do I fix it?
  4. I've been having an odd issue for well over a month now where I get a 504 gateway time-out error on the nexusmods.com/fallout4 page. The main Nexusmods page works just fine, Skyrim, FalloutNV, etc main pages also work just fine. I can visit individual Fallout4 mod pages without issue. It is only specifically the fallout4 front page that reports as being down. From what I've read 504 errors are on the site's network end and not on my internet's end butI haven't seen anyone else report this issue though so that leaves me very confused. Perhaps it's only an issue to my region (Atlanta GA area) or my internet provider (comcast)? It's not that big a deal since I can go specifically to a mod page and site that way but it would be nice to see the front page again. :-/ I don't know if anything can be done but since it has persisted this long I felt it warranted a report.
  5. If anyone is still confused by all this, the //F4 line in enblocal.ini is just a comment to remind you of which key it is. The value you need to change is the "KeyFreeVRAM=" value. It's going by Adobe ascii keycodes. f1=112. f2=113 etc, so the 115 value is f4. Change that to whatever you like. f10 (121 value) is hardcoded and not used so skip that. 122 is the F11 key which is a good one to change it to since it typically isn't assigned to anything. So to summarize: 1) Open up the enblocal.ini file 2) Scroll down to the Input field and find: //f4KeyFreeVRAM=115 3) Change the values to: //f11 KeyFreeVRAM=122 4) Save and quit, you're done. F4 will no longer cause your game to freeze for a few seconds as it purges VRAM, so you can use it for something else like Autosave Manager or SkyUI equipment sets.
  6. I believe you're describing the Best Friend perk from SPERG. You can alter what race the companion is, put items on him, tell him to go sell and other useful things. Bear in mind that SPERG is a complete overhaul of the perk trees so it's not compatible with any other overhaul mod that does the same thing like PerMa, SkyRE, etc. If you use it and don't like the changes to the rest of the game it does, you can deactivate all of the perk tree branch changes except for the Speech tree where the Best Friend perk lies. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24445/?
  7. Are there any mods that display the values of physical and/or spell mitigation? Like not just showing an armor value or multiple spell resist buffs, but maybe something that adds the damage resistance value next to the armor value, or a stat listing in a popup window or MCM panel? The armor cap is such an odd number, it doesn't easily translate besides the obvious "more is better" so I'm just curious. Any help is appreciated, I hope my explanation is adequate.
  8. Does anyone know of any mods that adds any kind of charity options to the game, temple donations, something like that? I'm currently playing a paladin character and the only time I've run into an option to give a donation to a temple was one time being able to donate to the Temple of Mara in Riften, but I don't think it's repeatable (unless you just have to wait a few days or something). I've done searches on keywords like "charity", "donation" and "temples" but couldn't find anything. Besides the occasional beggar, there don't seem to be any options for charity. :-/ I suppose I could just walk into a temple and drop some gold on the ground, but hopefully there's a better option out there?
  9. If you use UNP you have a number of non-skimpy options available. There's the simple conversions done by Exeter: UNP Female Armors UNP Dawnguard Armors UNP Dragonborn Armors Exeter also has a number of other conversions you should check out. There's also the Lore-Friendly options here: Lore Friendly and SemiSkimpy Armors - UNPB-BBP If you go that route, I suggest installing Exeter's and then installing the Lore Friendly set on top of it since the latter doesn't cover all armors so Exeter's provides a nice base to build on. If you prefer to stick with CBBE, I'd suggest you just download: Bodyslide 2 and Outfit Studio Then you can configure the body exactly how you want it to look at 0 and 100 weights and then just do a batch build and it'll convert all the vanilla armors to fit your chosen body mesh. There are a few already made sets out there, most tend towards the skimpy side as you're already aware though. You can always look up individual outfits if you tend to like one and wear it a lot to see if there are any versions made that you like, then just install that version on top of whatever packs you're using.
  10. Morrowloot 4E Eh, that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for really. Unless I'm misunderstanding the description, that mod removes the loot system entirely and just drops a few items into the world and adjusts what the npcs use. I'm looking for something that makes it so that when I open up a chest, especially a boss level chest, I don't find loot that takes my character's level into account. Maybe I'll find something crappy like fur armor with a random enchant... or maybe a small chance of finding something really great. Right now I'm using Scarcity which does a nice job of at least making finding any items at all in chests less common, but it doesn't make it so that I might find a rare high level item when my character is low level. Basically what I want is a chance (likely a very small chance) of finding gear above my character's level... while it's perfectly fine to find lots of gear at or below my character's level as well. As an example, say my level 10ish character opens up the boss level chest in Bleak Falls Barrow or some other dungeon... in vanilla it would likely have some enchanted item, likely steel, a small chance of elvish or dwarvish... and maybe a scroll, potion, or jewelry item. If my level 30ish character opened the same chest in vanilla, it might have steel plate or glass or whatever. So what I want is something where I might find the standard loot... but maybe a very small chance that I'd find an item of a higher level. The problem is the mods I've found that delevel loot also delevel everything else, and often tack on a lot of other features that I'm not interested in as well. Or, like Morrowloot, take the items out of chests entirely and "hides them"... whatever that means.
  11. Are there any mods out there that make loot unleveled (especially chest loot)? I know there are overhaul mods out there that make EVERYTHING unleveled but I'm just looking for a mod that affects loot tables. The only mods of this nature I can find are overhauls like Requiem, etc though. Is there a mod out there that only unlevels loot (or even just chests/boss level chests would be fine.) Thank you in advance.
  12. Is there a mod that makes significant amounts of time pass during the game, besides just setting the timescale up to a ridiculously high number? I mean, I know there's the Dynamic Timescale mod so you can set the timescale up to a high number when in the wilderness... and you can sleep/wait for large amounts of time, or that Living Takes Time mod that makes various actions take a bit of time. But what I'm looking for is a way to make the game take place over a much longer timeframe. I'm not picky on how it accomplishes this, but the fact that I can run from Riften to Markarth on the same day... perhaps even only taking less than half a day seems ludicrous. Or the fact that I can go from being a weak adventurer who can barely handle more than 2 bandits at a time to taking down a godlike dragon and ending a civil war all in less than a month. So if there is a mod, or several mods, that would make the adventures in Skyrim take place over a much longer period of time, please let me know. Thanks!
  13. InvalidFate worked on it and created a rough working concept of it with dual SMGs but there was a huge amount of work that had to go into it and it was unfinished, and I don't believe any news of it has come out in the past year or so. At this point it's highly unlikely the mod will be finished but it's always possible someone might release something just for the purpose of having two guns showing for screenshot purposes. You can see a proof of concept video here And a thread about it here
