  1. Neither of these solutions are working for me. If I use a Patch 6 merged file then the game won't start up. If I use my old Patch 5 merged file, it crashes a second or two after the loading screen bringing me into the game world.
  2. I posted requesting a mod for this a few days ago actually. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1042877-removal-of-dragon-killfinishing-moves-on-player/ Anyway, I just stumbled upon this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35362/ I haven't tried it out yet but the title says "No killbites" which sounds good to me. I hope that it solves both our problems.
  3. haha no problem, I appreciate the reply. I've seen a few instances around the internet of complaining about this but a mod has not been made. :(
  4. Should be pretty self-explanatory from the title. Kill moves in this game annoy me. They allow enemies to freeze you in place, disabling everything whilst they kill you (an extremely unfair game over, if you ask me). I have a combination 'hardcore' mods on which make combat extremely difficult and skill-based, but these kill moves mean enemies can stop me from moving around. They will kill me with a finishing move at times when I wouldn't have died otherwise. It's unfair and game-breaking. Now there is already a mod (ini tweak) to disable kill moves of both the player and the enemies (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33) but for some reason this doesn't affect dragons. The dragon ones are probably the most annoying because they make your character stand there for a second or two before being chomped on, time enough for anyone to escape. Now maybe in the future this mod will change to incorporate dragon kill moves, I don't know. But in the meantime, I desperately need to switch these stupid things off.
  5. Just thought I'd chime in and say I had this problem also. My squares were bright blue instead of dark blue, but it's likely that the problem is very similar. I spent a while fixing it but I'm not precisely sure how, I'm going to write everything I remember doing and hope you can figure it out from your mod config. I'm using many of graphical mods including ENB and all of the 'Skyrim performance plus' files (rain, snow, blah). I thought it would be one of those, so I first uninstalled the skyrim performance plus snow file... that did nothing. I then installed an ENB particle patch and an ENB Snow FX esp... also nothing. I also had 'wet and cold' + ash patch and also 'get snowy' + ash patch without realising that these do similar/the same thing/s and so I removed get snowy and then that seemed to not work... THEN I used console commands to turn the snow on and off (http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)/Weather) (bearing in mind that before I used the commands there were still blue squares) I changed the weather to clear (10e1f2) and then to: c8221 - SkyrimStormSnow and then to: 4d7fb - SkyrimOvercastSnow and both of these weather effects displayed no blue squares. So what I can conclude for now is that it's fixed and it could've been any of those mod changes I listed above, and that you might have to change the weather if you saved it during the blue-square-blizzard.
