  1. I second this link. https://community.bethesda.net/thread/21144 Elianora saves the day.
  2. thanks Emissary, yeah I added the textures manually to the archive when it promps. My PC version works fine, I think it might have something to do with xbox and replacing vanilla textures as a number of modders seem to have the same problem. I've reached out to a few modders on bethesda.net so if i find a solution I'll post it back here.
  3. Hi Guy's, I attempted to output my dogmeat retextures for xbox last night using the creation kit and bethesda's web site. It uploaded fine and people began to download. But the feedback i was getting was that it didn't change anything. I made sure to include my archive with the upload. I'm just wondering if there is another step that's needed? to enable texture replacement on the xbox. i know originally pre CK people had to change there .ini files for textures to appear. I'm wonder if this is the case for xbox. That i need to enable the xbox to read the textures or allow it to replace them somehow. I think other modders are also having this problem. Mainly the pipboy texture modders. So any help would be great, or if someone has already worked this out. I've trolled the internet to find an answer but Bethesda has no information on xbox modding at all. Thanks in advance for any help. 7iger
  4. This has been so well handled. I know businesses that would not have a clue how to approach this sort of thing. Great work! This site has my complete confidence.
  5. OK that makes sense. I do regret placing this in an open forum, as i can see now it was probably not the best way to solve this. Thankyou all for your input. I've contacted a moderator so that this can be solved in a friendly way. I really don't want to discourage the modder from modding. This community is about sharing after all.
  6. Also if I leave it be, Would this just open the gates for other people to happily copy/edit my textures and claim as their own? Or is that just the norm for the sake of growing the community?
  7. I posted in the forums becuase i was torn between letting the mod go on since it really doesnt hurt anyone. But i also I had no idea what the procedure in this case should be. Thus looking for some advice. I'll discus with the mod author directly. Some credit should suffice, my other issue was that I was also working on colour variations of my texture. Now it would look like I've just stolen his idea (which inturn was stolen from me lol) Thanks for your guidance.
  8. I thought talking to the mod author first would be the best way to approach this rather than straight up report them.
  9. This mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4203/? Has been created using my textures as a base. I'm pretty sure can't take someones texture and then paint over it with a colour and call it your own mod. I see that they have changed the ears and the eyes. But as soon as i saw the light parts of the texture near the legs i though this looked too familiar. Below are two gifs showing how they have basically drawn over my texture. Body http://giphy.com/gifs/xTk9ZRk8BWHFNdciaY Head http://giphy.com/gifs/26tPrxwN7LYvpXIVG My original mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1869/? I'm unsure how i want to approach this at the moment... I could use some community feedback on what i should do about this.
