  1. Nexus merch is an awesome idea. I've been a Premium supporter as long as it's been an option, and Dark0ne's commitment to creating great gaming experiences is unrivaled. I've seen lots of mod sites come and go, but I'm happy that Nexus is still going strong.
  2. This would be great if it weren't for one problem: I can't install ModManager from the Suite. Whenever I try to download using the Tools menu I get a message saying "An error occurred while trying to contact the server." I'm not having trouble installing mods. I can't even point to the DAI executable from ModManager.
  3. I do not have older versions of .NET. I've checked. Trying to install older versions doesn't work as you get an error message stating that a version of 4.6.2 or newer is currently installed and the installation cancels. (I've tried that too.)
  4. Specifically this post in a thread where the person was having a nearly identical issue. That said, if it can work on 4.7, then I'm open to troubleshooting.
  5. All the mods. Because as my post stated, I can't do Step One which is setting the executable path to Inquisition. Because then it crashes. Because it's built on an old version of .NET Framework and no one has touched it in more than two years.
  6. I got a new PC about 6 months ago and decided to have another run through DAI. I downloaded the most current version of DAI Tools Suite and a bunch of new mods. Tried to run Tools Suite, hit Download for Mod Manager, and got "An error occurred when trying to contact the server." I found a link for Mod Manager, tried to set the file path for the executable, and ModManager crashed. After doing some googling, I came to the assumption that my version of .NET Framework is too new. (I have 4.7 and it should be 4.6 or older.) So I successfully removed .NET Framework 4.7. I tried installing .NET Framework 4.6 and got an error message that that version or higher was currently installed on my PC. It's not. I've checked the registry, etc. I created a Tapatalk account to attempt to access the DAI Modder forums, but apparently I can't register. You can't simply uninstall .NET Framework 4.7. You have to use a special tool to remove it and its registry entries. When people get newer PCs with newer OS's and newer software, they will find it more and more difficult to play a modded Inquisition. This is frustrating. Given that technology continues to advance and given that software will continue to get newer versions, are there any plans to update ModManager to be compatible with .NET Framework 4.7?

  11. You know how you have to do a reinstall and you don't remember what you did? *sigh*
  12. Congratulations, Robin! And thank you so much for such a great site!
