  1. It's was said somewhere that thay considered adding it but the controller didn't have enough buttons so they focused on more important things. Not surprized they didn't add it to the PC version but I always thought the modding community could solve this problem. Have some faith.
  2. So, I've been into dark souls maybe for a year. Game is fantastic and all, probably one of the best of the generation, but it has its flaws, and this one bugs me more than anything in the game. Lets say you are playing with a greatsword, the bastard sword for example, you just defeated a boss after a hard battle and you go to firelink shrine to iddle a bit while you rejoice over your own awesomeness, maybe talk to some npc or whatever you do when not fighting, then you notice your weapon is out even tough the battle is over, in fact, its always out, why can't you sheath it? yeah you could simply unequip all your weapons, but that's not the idea, it takes a lot of time to remove it and then search for it again everytime you want a moment of peace, besides, what you want is to sheath your weapon, like in the cutscenes. In fact, if you two-hand your bow when assigned to the left hand your right hand weapon will be sheathed, but then how do you holster your bow? Sheathing is also an aesthetic element, specially important in an RPG game, where personal preference is everything. I'm usually not concerned over these minor flaws in games, but lack of a holstering mechanic is unacceptable, could someone just bind a key to to it? maybe press ''T'' to holster right and left hand weapon, press again to unholster, like fallout. I'd do it myself if I knew anything about modding.
  3. I'm tired of the horrible clouds of FNV, at least of the cloudy sky ones, the clear sky ones are ok. How can I replace them with, say, the ones at black mountain? or with one from the Nevada Skies mod? how could I do that? and I'm talking about replacing not changing the weather, which I don't know how to do either. Please, any help is would be very apreciated.
  4. Only through the wiki did I learn about the assassins that the legion sends after you for being shunned or worse, and that was by the time I got to the fort. I've been hated by them pretty much since nipton, like 50 hours before, never seen a single assassin in my life. I suppose it is a bug, I read they sometimes do not respawn, maybe i did kill a hit squad and don't remember, but it wouldn't matter because it was fixed by patch 1.4.0.525, which i have. I've tried mods, but nothing. Tried the console, spawned a few, then tried teleporting to the currect position of the leader, it was in a testing room with spawn points, but there were only NCR soldiers, no trace of legion assassins. Tried resetting Caesar's foe, then starting it again, no sign of the enemy. Kind of desperate right now, don't know why, I don't want to let this problem beat me, but i want a new challenge, and i want the game to function correctly. Suggestions?
  5. Ok so everyone knows that there's an unlimited amount of dragons that may spawn at fixed locations through the game, and that stronger dragons appear once you level up and by level 50 or 60 you'll mostly see elder dragons, sometimes 3 of them trying to kill you. That alone is not a complication since an average player with goog gear can easily take tham out, the problem itself is the reduced numbers of NPCs that populate Skyrim, which barely reduces the feeling of loneliness in the vast land that is Skyrim, and most important their self-destructive demeanor: Instead of hiding in their indestructible houses like a less retarded or better programed NPC would do they decide to draw their knifes and try to repell the threat on their own, ending in their untimed demise. Its completely breaks the immersion to have to use the console to resurrect fallen friendlies for me while other players might just ignore it untill they get ghost towns, like it has happened to a lot of people in the case of Dawnstar, a popular hangout place for dragons. And that put together with random defunctions and other kinds of dangers leaves us an even emptier land, filed only with unfriendly NPCs like bandits and such, who seem to outnumber normal civilins in colossal numbers. So if anyone could make something to stop this, like changing their behavior to simply run and hide instead of fight, or make the dragons only focus on you and the respawning guards would be most appreciated.
  6. Hahaha, it sucks when they kill important NPCs, never happened to me untill my first elder dragon, fortunately it was night at dawnstar so the only casualties were all the guards, who fortunately respawn... I think.
  7. So I've been playing Fallout 3 and NV for some months now, an I've have only one big complain: When you walk in 45 degrees in third person the PC will moonwalk in that direction like magicaly, almost hoovering in the air. For a game so complete like this I just can't understand the devs didn't fix the the legs to move in the correct position, as easy as it is for them. Is like, you are looking cool in your outfit holding your big gun, looking at the horizon waiting for new adventures, everything seems epic untill the sad moment something moves and all of that magic is lost. You could say ''well, if you don't like it use first person, as it was meant to be played in the first place'' but this has gone to a bigger extent than that, bacause it not only happens to you but to all NPC, and nothing kills the game to me more than when a deathclaw runs to me like it was floating. I don't know if there is already a topic about this because I'm new in this site, though there most likely is. What I'm sure about is none has taken the time to fix it, so I'm here, humbly asking you almighty modders to do something about this, before it gets to late and the next fallout comes out using the creation engine and the old games are left to rot in the shadows, forever....
