  1. So I'm a freelance voice actor and I've been looking into making additional voice packs for use in Automatron and frankly... there doesn't really seem to be a whole lot of documentation out there on the subject. I already kinda inquired with the guy behind "More Robot Voices for Automatron" and never heard back, so I guess I'll kinda open it up to anyone who's interested: if somebody who knows how to accomplish this could provide me with, say, the subtitle script that Automatron robots use, would they be interested in perhaps bashing together a mod that would put my voices into the game? I've got a studio quality mic and I've been doing voices ever since I learned to talk, so I promise I'm not just some terrible idiot who thinks he's better than he is; if you're interested but have doubts that I'd actually deliver something worthwhile, I have professionally recorded demo tapes available that I can send to assure you I'm good.
  2. So I'm a streamer of video games, and I'd like to at some point stream Fallout 4 and play as a previous stream character who happens to be a skeleton. There's a playable skeletons mod and it's pretty great! The thing is though that a lot of default outfits have the player's flesh showing as part of the outfit. There are mods that allow you to make accessories like jackets and whatnot that can be worn over top of other outfits, but it appears that the same isn't true of, say, shirts and pants. That really surprises me! You'd think this would be something that a lot of people would find useful. If nobody actually thinks this would be useful, would somebody at least just chop a pair of jeans with black boots loose from some existing outfit for me? Maybe provide a yellow tanktop? That's all I really need to get what I'm looking for if nobody knows of such a thing already existing and isn't interested in, you know, chopping apart every outfit in the base game...
  3. I'm really curious: has anyone made a tutorial on how to utilize Hearthfire's house building system in user mods yet? I've got some ideas I'd like to tinker with, but I have literally no idea as to where to begin. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. I hate to bump my own topic not so long after posting it, but I discovered after more random tests that changing the songs to mono WAV files is the only way it seems to make them play back in full without it randomly deciding to stop. Can anybody explain why it would be doing this? As I said already, the main game and many mods appear to use MP3 with no problems, so I'm very much curious as to why I'm finding it impossible to do so. On a related note, something that I'd forgotten to touch on in the OP: is there any place I can find a guide to radio station scripting? I want to do some stuff kind of similar to Radio New Vegas, but honestly learning just by looking at the scripts in RNV is kind of a daunting task. I've searched a bit myself but so far the only radio tutorial that I've found is the one I already posted and the woefully incomplete one featured on Bethesda's official G.E.C.K. Wiki, neither of which feature any in-depth looks at the scripting aspect of it.
  5. Hey guys, I'm new here and still relatively new to Fallout: New Vegas. I just got into the mod scene a couple days ago and was ecstatic to discover you can easily (well, comparatively) make your own radio stations and add them into the game. Having followed this tutorial to a T, the station mostly works. It appears in the list and will play back the audio. However, there is one persisting issue that I cannot figure out how to resolve which is preventing me from continuing development of my station: for whatever reason, it starts to play a segment, plays it for about 10-15 seconds, then just goes to the next one automatically. Bear in mind, I did stray from the tutorial's suggestion on one issue: the songs are in MP3 format. This shouldn't make any difference, though, as I copied and pasted the music into existing New Vegas radio songs and saved them under new names, which means they retain all the same formatting. I'd really rather not have to do WAV music because it's going to be bigger, look less professional, and it's forced to be mono. I know it can be done in mods because I have the fantastic CONELRAD Radio mod and all of its music is in MP3, so I'm thinking maybe I missed something. Here is a copy of my mod as it exists right now. Hopefully somebody can give me some insight into what I've done wrong. Download: HERMES Radio WIP If anyone can help me figure out what's wrong, that would be greatly appreciated. If anyone can't download from Mediafire for whatever reason, let me know and I'll rehost it somewhere else. Thanks in advance!
