  1. base game wise you need to alteast start the main quest to finish the civil war. I'm not sure if any mod allows you to finish without triggering the main quest.
  2. the only mod packs that are around are either armor and weapon packs or gameplay overhauls. If your expecting a 100 mod in one that works perfectly, your expecting far too much.
  3. well you can't port to console without atleast uploading to bethnet so far a I know. Also anyone who assumes that a mod author has to fix their poor porting job is an idiot. If you don't understand the basics of how the mod functions, then leave it for the modder to do themselves.
  4. I'm confused by your wording with this. If you mean uploading ports, that's super wrong and shouldn't be tolerated. If your talking about porting for your own use, I question why that bothers you.
  5. Apologies for my delayed response, but my textures are within my Data folder. Is there something I'm missing? hey if your still having this problem I wasn't referring to missing textures, but texture paths for the model. If you look in nifscope you should be able to find where the model is looking for the texture, if the model is going through the directory along the lines of something like c:/programfiles/steam/skyrim/data that's the wrong way to do it. What this causes is issues if someone has the mod installed in a different location compared to the mod author, the correct path is something like this texture/hair/ponytail. You might want to check to make sure the texture path is correct.
  6. the fallout 4 building system is pretty much based off the real time settler mod that came out for new vegas and skyrim way back, so yeah it will be possible. Need the skse though if I recall.
  7. are the meshes purple? it may actually be a texture path issue. Make sure the texture path isn't going through the directory but starting at the data folder.
  8. I'm no expert on the subject, but from what I understand there are two styles of dagger fighting, icepick (dagger down) and saber grip (dagger up). Icepick was used due to things like mail and woven armor since it had more penetration, where as a saber grip gets more reach and maneuverability. What this comes down to is the same logic a saber or katana would be better to bring during the age of gunpowder over weapons like the longsword or maces. All this just comes from watching a few fencing videos in my spare time, so I maybe completely wrong in my understanding.
  9. the nexus mod manager always has these problems, which is why I prefer the independent mod managers.
  10. Do you have to manually set the load order in SSE? Thanks. you can do it with either the nexus or inside sse. Both work fine.
  11. in the main menu go into mods, then hit t for load order.
  12. perhaps using the racemenu command might help.
  13. sounds a bit complex, but hey your character should be how you want it. In terms of possibility yes it is, and talos would not have needed an elder scroll to do it. Talos was able to remove the vast jungles of cyrodil from both past and future to ensure the prosperity of the empire, so teleporting a kid would probably be easy.
  14. I'm not really sure what your getting at. The only real Japanese thing going on for his character is the name. If say this blade was a loremaster or close to it like esbern, it's likely they may hold atleast some knowledge of akaviri language. But one of the main reasons I was suggesting a blade is that it rolls well into making a valkyrie character. Talos is probably one of the closest gods to odin and valkyries served odin if I'm remembering correctly.
  15. The blades are basically mostly imperials in origin. And they have zero idea about their akaviri root and what they are just like anyone else in the tamrial. not claiming they actively spoke akaviri, but having maintained some lore would not be out of the question I assume. Esbern seemed to know alot of the blades past as dragon hunters and such.
