  1. The problem happens on a brand new save with a new character. I run Skyrim on a rather nice desktop as well, so those are two solutions that are highly unlikely for my particular problem. As for the specs you would suggest for my load order, I have everything covered short of the VRAM wich is 4GB not 6 at the moment. Thank you for your input and assistance jones177. ^_^
  2. That sounds... really.... I don't even know what to think about that. The make a game, make people buy it twice (well, for the most part, there were exceptions) and in the end.... It is broken not because of anything WE do to it but what they lacked doing with it? *faith in corporations -100 pts* Thank you for the link and the help. *faith in humanity restoration in process 15.49%*
  3. Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me narrow down the list as to whom the culprit could be to my (seemingly random) game save corruptions. It seems to be tied to the opening of living NPC inventories (pickpocket, merchant, etc). To be honest, even that is a shot in the dark. I say that may be involved because when I notice the problem, usually it is because I am speaking with a merchant, but they do not have the option to buy something from them. Or, I am pickpocketing someone and I can't quick load (when getting caught) because the save has become corrupt. The bright side of this is that all I have to do in order to load my game up correctly is restart the entire program from the desktop. This also fixes the merchant menu options. Does anyone know why this might be happening or which mod(s) may be causing it? I do have other glitches or difficulties with my game, but all are minor in comparison. Mod List: Load Order:
  4. -Utilizes level 3 necromancy spell on thread- I know how you feel. I've been looking for the same thing, for both Legendary & Special Editions of Skyrim. So far this is what I've found. Skyrim Floral Overhaul seems to completely desaturate gatherable/pickable textures and should be avoided for this purpose at all costs....Unless you overwrite said textures. The kicker, of course, is that then it adds very colorful non-pickable plants to the landscape, beautiful, but unhelpful. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2154/?Glowing Items doesn't seem to make activators (the plant you are picking) glow, just its ingredients. So only semi-useful for our purposes. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24707/?Pick-able Plants Enhancement could be a good alternative, but I have yet to try it in the game. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/838/?Floral Saturation seems to do the trick. BUT! It has the same textures for pickable and picked plants, so not fully helpful unless you manually select to only have the pickable textures. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11416/?Modest Plant Textures is really lovely, and one of the only mods I've found that touches a lot of the harvestables. I highly recommend it. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83282/? Now. Since there doesn't seem to be an all in one mod, I've taken to searching for individual mods that might make this better. So far this is what I've got. 5. It feels like three lifetimes ago now, but I remember the way I could harvest those pesky hanging rabbits and pheasants and salmon without them repeatedly clattering against my head. I felt so free, so easy and happy that it was not until the innkeepers began to yell at me to "stop doing that!" that I noticed the difference. Oh, where are you mod of my heart... The one that will make all those innkeepers STFU! I also remember a time, where I could see my brilliant red hair flowing free in the wind while still having the protection of my helm as I fought so many countless dragons, Draugr and those foul beasts that threaten the peace of our dearest Skyrim. Please, please! Does anyone know where I have left my beautiful and oh so very useful circlets and bandanas? The ones I could use with ease in the stead of a full (wasted three hours making my face look gorgeous) helmet? >.> I've been reading too many articles on my phone about Craiglist "Missed Connection" hilarities... I thought I'd give it a go. So now that I (hopefully) entertained you. I am honestly looking for a mod, that I vaguely remember having these features. I don't believe they were the same mod, but I'm positive they exist.... somewhere (over the rainbow). Does anyone know the name of them? OR Perhaps what search keywords I could even begin to use in either the name or description fields to find them? EVEN Better, maybe someone would be willing to help me/create the mod(s)? On that note, I do have an (I've gone off the deep end with OCD) idea for a variation of the General Stores mod if anyone cares to help with that one too. I am unfortunately the sort of person with BRILLIANT ideas and not enough patience/time to gain the knowledge to execute them. PS. I would like to find these for both versions (if possible) of Skyrim (Legendary & SE).
  6. Hello everyone, this is my first post on the forums so please bare with me if I do anything wrong as far as forum ethiquett. Problem: Wrong names on times, mostly cooking/food items. Such as a vegetable soup being labeled horker loaf, or something bizarre like that. It seems to happen sporadically and sometimes if I exit to desktop and reload the game the names will be fixed but its getting increasingly annoying. In addition to that, the game crashes to desktop for no more apparent reason than me moving too quickly (turning away from a chest or other container, shifting to look another way after a battle, etc.). Basic Computer Specs: Desktop Computer, Windows 10 OS (x64-based PC), Intel CPU @ 3.5GHz, 16GB RAM, Dual Monitor setup, 2TB HDD (1.1TB free), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti. If more is needed let me know. Game Location: Typical steam path. C:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Game Version: 1.9.32.0 (latest?) DLCs: Legendary (Dragonborn, Hearthfire, Dawnguard) plus the Skyrim High Resolution Texture Pack. Using NMM (v. 0.61.16), SKSE (v.0.1.7.3), LOOT (v. 0.8.1) Mods being used: (its a long list...) Load order: (LOOT log at the end) After running loot there was only 1 change made and that was to place UWEC at the very end of the load order since that is what the mod author said was needed. No other mod made that request that I could find. LOOT Log: (if this isn't the right log please tell me and I'll replace it with the correct one, but I'm 90% sure this is the log) Please let me know if there is any other information that is needed, and I'll keep this thread updated if I notice any more symptoms or patterns to this mad twisting of names and crashes.
