  1. How about a gun that can be "easily" converted between all ballistic-only ammo types? The idea is a weapon that helps those in Survival Mode keep from getting too weighed down with the random ammo one finds. A good limitation to put on it would be that one must find a weapons bench to convert. To build: Gun Nut 4 To convert: Gun Nut 3 Conversion between the following ammos: .38 .308 .44 .45 .50 5mm 5.56mm 10mm Gun characteristics affected when switching: Capacity Damage Range Recoil Accuracy? Fire Rate? These are just some ideas to consider. Lots of room for the mod maker to be creative and experiment.
  2. +1 I've always thought it was odd you had to replace a mod with another mod. I do think this mod would have to completely break the weapon down, though. I doubt the game has a way of managing an incomplete item in inventory (i.e., a rifle with no barrel, pistol with no grip, etc.).
  3. As the title suggests, how about a mod that allows the ability to save when no enemies are nearby (whatever "nearby" means)? The game seems to already track this so that you can't sleep when enemies are near. I assume the main purpose for restricting Survival saves is so that we don't micro-save our way through encounters. Which makes sense. Maybe this mod could also be made to (give the option to) prevent saving during a conversation with an NPC?
