Thanks! Oh, I know. I kept them to get my presets for them back since I didn't save those few. I use them for testing mostly, not any serious gameplay, but I did have the save corrupt bug even at the new start when I exited RM. But it didn't do it this time around, so crossing fingers! :wub: :wub:

Hey! Yes, I did a clean install. I deleted everything and started from scratch. Now I just installed SSE Engine fix. Maybe that will help. I've spent the better part of two days getting my RaceMenu issues fixed and I think I've got that squared away. When I existed out of RaceMenu, it didn't give me a corrupted save like it did last time, so I'm crossing my fingers. I haven't tried playing one of my saves yet. I have the clean them first, then I will look around and see if this problem persists. Right now, my biggest thing is the nif heads and that's working finally. And, yes, I have SKSE up to date. Thanks for the link for the profiles. I will take a look at it. I also appreciate you sticking with me and trying to help. It means a lot.

Thanks! Yes, everything worked until recently. The last time I exported was on the 2nd of Dec. I only downloaded three mods at that point: one a town expansion with two patches. I thought maybe I should start a new game, but all the problems persist regardless despite removing them. Now that I did a clean install, all my presets that I need to make NPCs are ruined. Frustrating, but not the end of the world. At least I'm almost done overhauling the men. I'm not sure what you mean about profile in my MM. I use Vortex. About the image. I know... I've been able to post images before. It's so weird. I can still post images in PM. Let me try again. YES! It worked. I used image from PM instead of my image site.

Sorry, I'm terrible at describing things. I really want to post an image, but no matter where I'm going, this forum isn't allowing, so I can't show you. What I mean is when I'm in RaceMenu and I exit, I save my game. When I load the save, instead of seeing the image that goes with the save (image of my last location), the image is in rainbow that has the words "IMG" on it. Then the save says it's corrupt. When I exit the game, I can load that same save back up and it's fine. This happens every time I use the blacksmith, alchemy or racemenu. I think because it does this with the racemenu is why I'm having the .nif problems. I don't know what to do now. I did a clean install and it's still doing it. I really wish I could post an image. I can't even send you a link to the image. Strange. I can probably PM it to you, but this site won't let me post with images using Imgur or Flickr.

Thanks for your help :smile:. I'm not sure I got it fixed per se. It wasn't a mod either. When I turned my mods back on, it worked fine when I returned to my old save. I'm having some issue where you have the save and saved image as "img" and it says save is corrupted. I'm not sure why it keeps doing that to me, especially after doing a clean install, which was another reason for the clean install. But once I reload my save, it's fine and I can export the head. That's the most important right now.

Hey, thanks for replying. I checked that per your recommendation, but everything looks to be in order. How do I check out 'weird permissions' in my data folder? I thought it was some big problem and I ended up doing a clean install and loaded my mods again, but it's still doing it. Edit: I was having trouble getting Alternate Start to work... get Mara to give me my options, but it wasn't working. I have a mod conflict under 'body, face' mods because I uninstalled all of them and Mara works. I decided to try my hand at the exporting head thing and sure enough it works. Now I just have to find which one is giving me problems.

I really hope someone can help. I seem to have problems no one can figure out lol. Anyway, I mod NPCs for the game. I was creating some presets to export their head nifs so I can mod them, but for some reason RaceMenu isn't exporting the nif. It only exports the tintmask. I even tried the Export FaceGen Mod, but it has the same effect. No matter what I do, I cannot export the nif... only the texture. Does anyone have any insight into this? Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, I asked a couple of people. It seems they created him using LE first, then convert over to SE. I don't have LE, so I probably won't be able to edit him. Thanks!

I think only if you have the CBBE version of those NPCs do they change. I think there is an option on some of them when you download them in the FOMOD of say, Bijin's NPCs. I could be mistaken. But the best course of action is to create your body in CBBE itself, then you have to batch it to work with the outfits that have CBBE capability.

It's probably your ENB. I get extra shadowing on some skins with it.

You want to remove masters? Can you do that in SSEedit? Right click your mod there and click 'Clean Masters'

Anyone here familiar with changing NPCs in the game? I've been changing all the men in SE to HPH with my own creations. I am about to wrap it up, but I've come across a stumbling block. Cicero. He has three forms in Creation Kit. I have created NPCs with multiple forms before just fine, but Cicero is eluding me. He's not taking any of my meshes/textures at all, not even the hair. Even the hair I can generally get added on, but his face if black with all vanilla assets. I have recreated him several times to no avail. I know I'm not making a mistake in my meshes/textures. I have been over it and over it and over it. I'm wondering if there is some trick to him that I'm missing. Anyone have any ides? Thanks for any feedback.

I wish I had an answer, but I use both for my characters. I don't use the CBBE sliders, so I don't know, but I create my body in CBBE itself, then I create my character.

I hope someone here is familiar with SSEEdit since their comments are closed over there. I am having to reinstall my mods and did a full clean and install of Skyrim SE. SSEEdit is not even installed in my game folder. It's somewhere else, but now that everything is reinstalled, I can open SSEEdit, select my mods, but it won't let me right click for options at all. Nothing happens. Is anyone familiar with this problem? I've reinstalled the thing twice, but it's not exactly complicated. I'm not sure what the problem is or how to fix it, but I need it for my modding. I appreciate any help any one can give me. Thanks!
