  1. If you are not opposed to isometric ARPGs I highly recommend Grim Dawn. The base game with DLCs has 12 starter classes that you can combine to make powerful characters. Then you can add the Dawn of Mastery Mod to add an additional 30+ classes to combine to the game. The story is not super good but the gameplay loop is satisfying.
  2. Ok, removing everything, deleting all of the files, then reinstalling FNIS only the game works and animations are normal. I did notice that the default FNIS location for the tool when you add it is the mod staging folder that it is downloaded to. I had to change it to the skyrim rim directory. I get the game to load up now. FNIS by itself now works again. I am seeing some issues with I was still having issues with PCEA2 but I removed it and set it to be the last one to load and now things are working great. Thanks for all the help!
  3. I have also been following this guide to get FNIS for SKSE https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Tool_Setup:_FNIS
  4. The way vortex behaves is to add random digits likely a timestamp to the downloaded files. All of my vortex download paths have them. https://www.screencast.com/t/DmcfcQgD4U
  5. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038 is the proper edition?
  6. ok, I will uninstall in vortex then go through the files and manually remove them. Does Vortex cache any files or settings?
  7. Thhanks for the help but still having some issues. After updating the path on the dashboard shortcut and running the tool I get a bunch of warnings about incompatible anims. >>Warning: \character\animations\FNIS_PCEA2\fp20_shd_blockidle.hkx not Skyrim compatible<< V7.2 ... All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files....Alternate Animation mods: 1 sets: 29 total groups: 59 added file slots: 974 alternate files: 557 Create Creature Behaviors ... 557 animations for 3 mods successfully included (character). 560 Warning(s). Still seeing the error inside skyrim when I launch the game https://www.screencast.com/t/sKk59oDOhnY and the FNIS is not editable in the Vortex mod config bar still https://www.screencast.com/t/t6X8ssv4RscK When I go to the path in the Open in File Manager for FNIS in the mod settings the mod is still looking at C:\!games\mods\skyrimse\FNIS Behavior 7_6-11811-7-6-1582308039 the path the vortex installed it to.
  8. I am using FNIS SE 7.6 only. I did not download the XXL. Not in VR, just regular play. The path in SSE dashboard is C:\mods\skyrimse\FNIS Behavior 7_6-11811-7-6-1582308039\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe.
  9. I downloaded FNIS from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038 using Vortex.
  10. I am getting errors when trying to get FNIS to recognize PCEA2 and the FNIS menu is not displaying in the mod menu (https://www.screencast.com/t/97m3s6mL ) I have a valid version of skyrim SE installed by steam and using vortex. I get the all other mod installed through vortex, run the \tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe but I am still getting errors. I only skyui and script extender installed. I followed this guide https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Tool_Setup:_FNIS Fnis PCEA2 stopped with errors: FNIS PCEA not found by fnis keeps popping up when I run the game using script extender. I am using the hard code settings so my mods are in c:\mods\skyrimse\ and my game is installed at C:\!games\_steamlibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\ Vortex works when I load up the other mods such as the unofficial patch, etc, but I can't get FNIS working in vortex. I have exclusions in my AV for the mod directory and game folders.
  11. I play ESO still and find it still enjoyable in small time increments. As long as you don't expect the depth of a regular ESO game .. it is still just an MMO and there are lots of grind-ish quests but its free to play after purchase so there isnt a money commitment.
