  1. Very informative interview and nice supporting images. Vurt, thank you for all you have done to make Skyrim a more beautiful gaming environment. /salute
  2. Try turning off game Ambient Occlusion: bSAOEnable=0
  3. Also resolved by upgrading to version 0.65.2
  4. I'm getting the same NMM login error since yesterday, 5-8-2018. Login error: Unexpected response from the Nexus login server. Please try again later.
  5. I have the same problem and can't find where the sound settings are saved. Looked in the skyrimprefs.ini and don't see the settings.
  6. Skyrim VR is a completely separate game just like original Skyrim is a completely different game from Skyrim SE. Sure, in both cases there are overlapping mods that may or may not be interchangeable but I agree that there should be a separate Nexus Mods facility for Skyrim VR. Many of the mods showing up in "Recent Activity" are Skyrim VR mods and to be honest I am not interested and don't want to see them.
  7. Valid and thanks for the insight. In which case, I have to wonder, with the popularity of SKSE and its obvious practical applications, why Bethesda did not include a SKSE-like capability in the SE upgrade and charge for it. I still think the Skyrim community of players and developers might have been better served had Bethesda done so. As is we are playing a free upgrade that, though granted is much more stable than the original Skyrim, lacks the capability enabled by SKSE. Of course my hypothetical falls under the category: If wishes were horses, the beggars would ride.
  8. I think the fact that Bethesda did not market/charge for SkyrimSE in the long run has been detrimental for development associated with SE. If they had for instance, marketed it as Skyrim 2, they could have paid for SKSE to be developed for SE. And yes, some players would have complained and refused to pay for something that they felt should have been done in the first place but I think many more would have gladly paid for a much more stable upgrade that included a 64 bit SKSE.
  9. This is the same issue with SKSE. Expert programmers or experts in anything are limited resources and unless they have monetary incentive, work on SKSE or an upgraded ENB for SE is not going to happen. I for one would pay for both. I think a lot of players would. Someone prominent in the Skyrim community should put together a Go Fund Me effort or something to fund the development. Even a poll of a large number of players pledging support for these efforts might convince the developers to divert resources towards it. But a handful of players asking questions in this and other forums is not convincing.
  10. This is the only issue holding back SE. The SKSE team or some development team with a viable replacement could market an SKSE equivalent for SE and make some money because many Skyrim players would buy it. I for one have no problem paying for good software that takes a considerable effort to develop.
  11. Way too bright and blurry for my taste. Not sure if you are using a particular ENB or what but that constant blurred depth of field looks bad. DoF should only be applied when you are focused on something up close; not when looking out into an open area with everything in the distance blurred out of focus.
  12. My glitch was the bow aiming sideways to the left. Showracemenu did not fix the problem. What worked for me was reinstalling XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended SE and then running FNIS for users.
