  1. I was pointing that out because ENB, when installed via the RCRN Customizer it is automatically configured in the proxy settings, and if HiAlgo is used too, all the 3 mods will be automatically chained together.
  2. if RCRN detected HiAlgo means that you have leftovers from it into your main Skyrim folder. Give it a clean. About ENB always keep in mind that RCRN let you just easily install/uninstall vanilla ENB but it's up to you find a proper preset who works fine with RCRN, there are several floating around released during the last week.

Ofc not based on that, but on website activity, there are a quite good amount of alternate options.

Lol Arthmoor, I may be wrong, but i still think that some places, like Nexus are from the right part of the internet. So we can work for make this an even better place to discuss, or we can work for giving to 35k users a not fair *self-justice* tool.

There are way more important things to take care of, than a revamp of the moderation system. And note that the Steam Workshop =/= from Nexus. Modders must realize this asap, if something works on the Workshop it doesn't means that it automatically works here. Workshop is meant to be a no-brain-required product, so Valve doesn't really care about moderation because people will use it anyway, most of the time without even reading descriptions/comments. Nexus is before everything a community, users are the biggest value here, and it needs to focus on what the Workshop isn't, in order to keep running fine. Thinking to beat the Workshop in its own territory is just wrong, because it's something that can't be achieved, for the same reason copying features is not a win-win, because they need to be done in relation to the environment.

In response to post #10262139. #10262310, #10262477, #10262561 are all replies on the same post. as said i'm not for randomly banning/deleting/blocking, i'm for talking and discussing, and most of the times explaining stuff calmly and politely to an unpolite user makes the user being polite the next time. If someone goes to far, the previous system: *hide a post until moderator review* was perfectly fine, if used with brain and only when it was really necessary.
  8. In response to post #10262139. #10262310 is also a reply to the same post. There are not impolite users if you are a dedicated and polite Modder who really loves his community, users behavior is the mirror of the Authors behavior. If you are kind, you will mostly receieve kindness as back. With RCRN in 2 years we had to report just a couple of replies, and from the other side we happily replied to more than 4k questions.
  9. No. No. No. As 'polite' mod author, I do not welcome the new Author-side moderation system at all, it is something not needed if you are a 'polite' modder, if you are able to provide correct documentation and if you respect your users. I think that giving such a large power to Authors with just 1k downloads is a quite macroscopic mistake. And will result in a mass delete of negative reviews without even taking care to reply or being helpful with users, like a good modder should be. Bad comments are also a resource, both for Authors and for *new* users who approach a mod, they may help in tracking bugs, and at the user side they can make the difference between a download or a not download. By adding author-side moderation you are going to break this system, and everything will go soon out of control. As web related startupper, I can also tell that this is something which goes totally in the wrong direction, both from all the others "AppStore" out there (because yes, Nexus is basically a 'free' appstore) that are using centralized moderation for assure quality, and also from the 'numbers' side. As 'numbers side' i mean that this system will causes way less website interactions (less posts/replies/threads), way less returning/active users (because if i'm an user, and an author randomly deletes my posts i get angry) and you need to have those numbers highest as possible for attract advertisers, it's not a smart move also because you are probably already facing user deflection due Skyrim getting old and Steam Workshop competition. So instead of going along this risky road i find more useful setting up a proper advertising network (instead of using 3rd party services) and then using the money for boost the centralized moderation team. Just my 2 cents, and thank you for all the hard work.
  10. RCRN first release was 2 years ago, and latest is dated just a couple of weeks ago (exposed here), and the mod is rock solid since about an year. I don't know which version did you try out, but the informations you posted are quite inaccurate. Also because it's RCRN which introduced for first the multiple darkness levels for nights & dungeons, and this happened way before CoT first release. I don't even know how can you call it "Obsolete" since it uses the latest postprocessing technologies available and a fresh flat UI. Not liking a mod is fine, but spreading around wrong stuff is not fine. Cheers.
  11. Hey whatever happened to the mod, why is it under "moderation"? :s
