  1. I have the suspicion that the cylinder mesh is set up as the speedloader/casings that's why the anim makes it look like it's being detached from the gun. But I have no way to confirm it since I don't have the frontier installed because of the reasons stated on the first post. I am hoping someone could provide the reload info and mesh info of Jim's Sterling for me. EDIT: I figured it out. It's not the anim but the way the cylinder is set up in the nif. I just applied my hypothesis and without even downloading the whole frontier mod just to check and to confirm. Thanks for your replies!

  3. I saw this video that showcases the ranged weapon from the frontier. Partcularly, I want to know tha reload anim used on the Jim's Sterling revolver. Pretty interesting that it replaces the cylinder altogether instead of loading the bullets. Here's the video. PS: I don't have the frontier installed, my computer can't handle it and no spare space on my hard drive that's why I can't open the mod to check it for myself.
  4. Thank you for your time in shedding some light on this. Since 255 is at the at most limit, I'm just going to attempt some workarounds on it. The weapon I'm trying to work on with the huge ammo capacity is not a conventional one. It loads bb's and it shoots it out like a gauss rail system but in rapid fire much like an automatic gauss shotgun. It consumed 6 bb's per shot with a fire rate of a minigun thus the 255 ammo limit burns it very quickly that's why I am looking for a solution to go beyond the 255 limit. Appreciate your explanation on this, I learned something new. Thanks again!
  5. I noticed when I edit the ammo capacity of a weapon it wont go beyond 255. Is there anyway to increase the clip size beyond 255? I hope someone can help me on this if this is possible to achieve. Thanks in advance!
  6. Overall the new site layout looks fresh and I like it. Only issue (minor) I noticed is the way it clears the notifications/updates. In my account settings, I set my notifications to be game specific and in the old site whenever I clear all notifs it only clears on that specific game but now with the redesign, if I clear all notifs, all notifications are cleared in all games. So that means, I'll be missing out on some of my updates if I clear them before going through all the game sections. I like keeping my update tabs clean but I prefer how the old site handles it though ;)
  7. As the title says (sorry for the long ass title xD), I'm looking for (or requesting) an invisible projectile, since I had no luck making my own. I know there's this "hitscan" flag in the projectiles section in the GECK but the thing with hitscan is it's just invisible when not using VATS. I'm looking for a projectile preferably beam type that is invisible in and outside VATS. I have this idea to make a microwave type laser rifle that is also silenced. If it's also possible to add a gas leak shimmering effect to the projectile much better! I tried my luck editing some existing projectiles in nifskope but it proves more complicated than retexturing armors and weapons. I hope some fx wizard fairy would pick this up. Only the projectile nothing more. Thank you!
  8. Oh, if its already from another game then, it could be made as an inspiration for a new shotgun made from scratch or mashing up vanilla models. I didn't say any porting or some sort. There are lots of weapon mods in the nexus that is inspired from weapons from other games so why can't this be made to put into New Vegas? Well anyway, I'm just giving this idea a shot out here nothing serious. Who knows, maybe someone will pick it up. If not, then lets move on. Don't be a poop.

I found this shotgun design while "gun-nerding" around the internet and I happen to stumble upon this: http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130418150150/devilmaycry/images/6/6b/Weapons_CA_05_DmC.png I immediately thought "wow this would really fit into fallout nv and this looks so badaaass". I also notice this blue flare inside its chamber so I have this idea that it could be some type of gauss weapon. A gauss shotgun! sweet! Unfortunately I have no expertise on modding so I hope someone could pick it up (pretty please?). It's not necessary for the design to be exactly the same as the reference, a similar one will do so that the modder can put his/her own signature style. Thats it, thanks! cheers!

  11. I kinda just started learning the CK and this is quite advance for me that's why I made this request, though if someone would willing to show the ropes, I'd be glad to. I have some mod ideas I really want to be realized. Anyway, no chain is fine with me :smile:

I recently watched the TES Online gameplay video by IGN and I saw this power/skill that shoots/flings a chain projectile from the players hand (specifically the off-hand/left hand) to the enemy/npc and when the end of the chain hits the target, the player pulls in the chain thus putting the enemy in melee range. It can also be used to snatching enemies from a distance or snatching FLYING DRAGONS!!!... FROM THE SKY!!.. how bout that? hehe And if your a tank type build, you can make the enemy focus on you and let your mage/archer companion do it's thing.. Well that's it! Hi, I am planning to do a weapon mod that has this FX: during weapon ready/unsheath the player character/npc body and weapon will emit an aura (fire, cold, light, smoke, evil, vampiric etc.) and disables when you sheath your weapon. the weapon also has magic damage the same as the aura type.during attacking/slashing the weapon emits streaks of light or I may say "slashing light streak effect" that you see on other games.I'm kinda new to modding though I'am very eager to learn. I hope someone can give me the ropes to where I will start this project though if some bad-ass modder would pic this up, it's fine with me also. My first intention was to make a set of demonic swords that has this pros and cons (Ex. draining magicka or HP of the user while the weapon is unsheathed in return for damage/magic damage). But I think I'll start with small steps. I may start playing with the effects with the existing weapon models until I'm able to make my own though I already have some skills with 3D modeling. I already set-up my CK and I already started browsing on tuts for beginners. Well thats it. Hope I get a good response! Cheers! :smile:
