  1. For the better part of a year I've been unable to get nexus mods to work on my fallout 4, I've updated to the newest version, at one point purged all the fallout 4 and NMM files from my computer (That I could find) in an attempt to get it work. What do I mean by it doesnt work? Well it just doesn't install files correctly, I can download them and click enable (for this example I used the DKS sniper rifle mod) get in game and spawn it in my inventory and when I equip it my character is holding nothing, no model, it doesnt function, it cant fire, and something along of the lines of this happens whenever I install a mod through NMM, I can manually install mods no problem but that really gives me in headache in managing mods and figuring out how to fix my game by uninstalling certain mods after one broke it. What makes this even weirder is that NMM work just fine for my skyrim special edition, I've never had a problem with it. I'm stuck. I have no problem going through and purging all my NMM and fallout 4 files from my computer and starting all over again if I have to, as a matter of fact I'd love to start fresh being as I haven't played the game in almost a year. But like I said I've done that once before so. Any help or ideas anyone has would be enomously helpful because im stumped.
  2. that thread seems to be for 62.1 and im at 63.1 although theres a chance thats the issue, but its only happening to fallout for me, skyrim mods are working fine and I've installed several to make sure they are. I simply cant think of why i can only get bethesda.net mods to work.
  3. yeah i deleted nmm completely and redownloaded it to the D: drive, only thing i can think of the tracelog for nmm is still going to the C: drive but i dont know what that means of where to redirect it too
  4. was also thinking maybe i didnt transfer it over correctly? like maybe i left something on the c: drive? what i did was transfer it over, go into steam and deleted local content and then got steam to realize i moved it, but then i also proceeded to delete the game completely and redownload it to the D: drive. sorry just brainstorming a bit before i go to bed.
  5. havent had like that happen to me, it like nmm is doing something wrong, nmm knows where the fo4 game directory is, it knows where to put the mods and install files, im not sure what else to do, its even weirder to me that i can use bethesda.net mods no problem which would mean the issue would have to be on nmm not installing mods correctly? but i dont even know if thats right because when i open fo4 and go to mods and go to load order i can see the mods i installed with nmm along with bethesda.net mods but the nexus mods just arent working. this is an issue ive been battling for about a week
  6. youre right i was getting bethesda.net and nexusmods.com flipped around in my head
  7. I cannot get nexus.net mods to work at all. So. I've done jsut about everything I can think of, and have looked up multiple times the solution, but nothing helps me. So here what happened. I transfered Fallout 4 from my C: to my D: and updated nexus mod manager to 0.63.1 while i was waiting for the transfer.get in game and none of my mods are theremade sure nexus knew where the fallout 4 game directory was located etc.deleted fo4 and nexus mod manager completelyredownloaded them both so i have a clean slate to work withstill cant get anymods to workverified game cache with steamstill not working.I've watched so many videos outdated and new, yes the proper changes are made to my ini files thats the first thing i triple checked. Although I can get Bethesda.net mods to work fine if i download them in game, but no matter i cannout get even the simplest nexus mod to work, I havent resorted to manual installing yet, i have no problem doing it but i want to know why the manager took a s#*! first.
