  1. Apologies for posting this publically, but I am having problems with access to nexus.com (for PM's and Forum access). Your reminder regarding this breach prompted me to change my password just in case. However, MS's smartcreen now displays a message that this site (nexus.com) is unsafe. If I try to continue anyway, I get gateway timeouts. I wanted to let you know in case you were not aware and would welcome any advice you have to give or any feedback regarding this issue. Many thanks
  2. I just checked the site with Edge and everything seems to be working properly - dropdown you mentioned is fine on my machine.
  3. In response to post #10435923. I certainly hope not :) Means all mod authors would have to comply with some form of rigid framework and the pleasure of doing your own thing with how you package and install the mods you download could be compromised.
  4. Getting better every day. Have noticed that the ReadMe "View as text" link seems to point at the correct place (ie http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/...), but does not work. The actual text file is still at the old location (ie http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/...) Thought it worth mentioning in case it has not yet been reported.
  5. In response to post #7972078. #7972153 is also a reply to the same post. Thanks for the explanation. Guess it doesn't do what I was hoping, so will have to continue using the ReadMe tab for my change logs. I still think the new option for Change Logs is a great improvement. Any explanation as to why I can't delete the entry? The Delete icon does not have any link.
  6. Many thanks for the latest updates. I was delighted to see the update for the Change Log. For me it does not seem to work properly... 1. Only shows the first few lines of quite a long text file that I pasted. 2. Does not allow the entry to be deleted (although it did allow me to delete the old entry) You can see what it looks like here. Given the nature of this update, I would like to suggest that you allow a mode that gives the option to upload a text file (as is done for the ReadMe) - this makes more sense because each time you update the Change Log, you would want to replace the text that is already there (on the grounds that you have a text file with all the changes listed). Here is what I tried to paste... Many thanks for any help.
  7. For months now, I have been unable to download from the UK Premium location - returns an Error 404, File Not Found. The download works fine from the US Premium site. This is happening on a range of different files and makes no difference if I wait for days before trying the downloads. Is this a known issue or is there a setting I need to change? I am using Windows 7 Ultimate with IE 9 with all the updates applied. Many thanks for the work you do on Nexus and, hopefully, a solution to this long standing problem.
  8. Greetings from Toronto, Canada !!
  9. New site is great and many of my initial issues have been addressed beautifully - thank you. I have one last issue (or suggestion) that will really make a difference to my experience on the site:. Is it possible to enable the "Open in new tab" when I right-click on... 1. An Image (in the View Images listing as well as the Images tab for file entries) 2. New Today Many thanks for considering
  10. There are some great things with the new site and some elements of functionality and interface that I miss or don't like. Stuff that is broken or not supported... 1. Numbered lists no longer work using [ list = 1 ] 2. External URL's don’t work because www.nexus.... Is inserted in front of the URL (really frustrating when you want to link to Bethesda Softworks Forum topics) Stuff I miss... 1. Right-clicking an image from the Image Library list to open it in a new Tab. Takes very much longer to view selected images that have been posted because you need to keep using the back button - all in all, what I used to be able to do rapidly, now takes a very long time and has become tedious. 2. Right clicking items from the Latest Files and New Today list - all the same reasons given for the above. 3. No longer being able to see who endorsed a file unless they have left a comment Interface stuff Great structure and fresh looking. Would like to see a way of exposing some of the links from the drop down menus so I can access the frequently used ones easily. For me, Latest files, New Today and Image Library.
  11. Edit - sorry for double post - didn't realize the submit button was doing anything :)
  12. I don't seem to be able to download anything - I get a message telling me to wait an hour while it replicates across the servers. I get this message for files that have been uploaded weeks ago. Is it just me, or is their soemthing that is broken? Also, have I missed where the file track notifications will be displayed or is this something to come?
  13. A few things on the description syntax... [ list = 1 ] No longer works to create a numbered list [ url = ... ] Now needs quotes to create an external hyperlink - however, it does not seem possible to create an exterlink because whatever you specify is prefixed with www.nexus...., which creates an incorrectly formatted link.
  14. Lots of great new things. I only have one issue that relates to lists like Images, Latest Files, etc. I used to display the list and Right-Click and open in New Tab to view an item or image of interest. The new system does not allow this and makes the whol;e process very combersome (click, view the image, back, find where I was and so on). Would be great to enable a right click and open in new tab on items.
  15. Looks good. I do hope that the Internet Explorer 9 will be supported - certainly does not work very well on the samples and has a number of issues on the current site.
