    Future of EU...

It's impossible to control everything and know that absolutely every person is sane and has no mental issues. Just one of these persons can get in contact with this crazy terrorism organization and do something bad. I don't see any way to prevent these sort of attacks and make everyone happy. It's either stop accepting refugees completely and deport all the existing ones or accept them and live with the consequences. So the EU has pretty much 2 choices: condemn the refugees or put their own people at risk. A third option would be to put surveillance everywhere and spy on everyone, but that would invade privacy too much. There are good reasons to support either approach, to allow refugees or to stop them. By stopping them you are protecting your own people. By letting them in you are doing the humane thing for them. But maybe there might be a third long term approach. Help them but in their own countries. Stabilize their situation in their countries. Help educate them. Get some sort of industry and economy running in their countries. They must have something to produce and export to other countries so that they can make money. I think this what all the western countries are trying to do. But this is a really long term goal of at least 50 years or more.

    Future of EU...

It seems to me as an outsider that it was the decission was taken too fast. I still don't understand any of the 2 sides and their arguments. All I see is a bit of irrational arguments and not properly justified. It's alright to hold a referendum and I congratulate the people from the UK for showing their opinion. But people should have been made aware of the consequences of both possible outcomes backed by some studies. How do the common folk know what's best for them when they don't have no training or insight into economics and politics? The referendum should have been held after ample studies and the general population should have been trained and informed properly about what they are about to do. It's alright to leave the EU but there has to be a rational reasoning and ample studies behind that decision. Plans and measures had to be taken for both outcomes before the referendum. But because no plan was made for any of the outcomes, the investors are uncertain and maybe this is a tiny bit responsible for the uncertainty that caused the market to go down so badly. As it seems to me, this decision was mostly a gamble. And I looked into this and it seems as some politicians took advantage of this and led a campaign pro leaving the EU. Then again other politicians took advantage of the idea of staying in the EU. But did any party actually performed a study and came up with a plan after that? And did they have any simulations as to what was about to happen to the UK in the future? But I do admit that letting in all the immigrants inside the UK was a bad idea. Actually letting all the refugees inside the EU at this time was a bad idea. The EU already had internal problems, it was in not condition to destabilize it even more.
  3. Software developer here. 64 bit doesn't make anything run faster. It actually makes a game use a bit more memory since you use 64 bits and not 32bits, double the amount of memory, for storing some internal game data. It might even slow things down since 64 bit programs are bigger than 32 bit programs and the computer has to work harder to keep them in memory. The game can use a lot more memory and if you use huge textures and a lot of them then the game won't have trouble to store them in memory. There are some special requirements to store single big things like textures in memory, they must be stored in a continuos piece of memory. Even if the game only uses 1gb of memory but there are no continous pieces of memory big enough to store the big things in memory and the game will crash. This is one of the reasons why skyrim starts to crash more often the more memory it uses and the more mods you use.
  4. Bethesda is playing a sneaky game here. Free upgrade to pc players so that they can make mods for the new remastered game, including consoles. That's probably the reason they offered the free upgrade.
  5. I am almost sure I read about this issue on the niftools forums I think that explained how parts of the objects get deformed if they are far from the center of the object. But I can't find it anywhere sorry, you can ask it here: http://niftools.sourceforge.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=22
  6. Your model has too many polygons I think in a single mesh, ~170k polygons. That's way too much for a single object. You should have around 32k triangles in a single mesh. Even if you got that model inside nifskope, it won't be usable in-game since all the games support around 60k faces or 30k faces at most, not sure exactly.
  7. With fallout 4 script extender when it becomes available maybe or with dragon script if it gets ported to fallout 4. You can actually make a small program that sends back and forth replies from the clever bot to the game. You would need an internet connection for it to work. But it's really a longshot and something that no one really has tried. There could be ton of hurdles. Like how to generate replies dynamically for an npc, or how for the player to write custom replies to an npc and not just predefined answers. Long story short, probably with a very skilled programmer and there will be still hurdles left. Voice acting won't work for sure, you would need a 3rd party c++ library to generate voice for some sentences. This is really something incredibly hard and really not worth it.
  8. There are already plenty of races with good potential for a nice looking character. All the top races mods are like this. Take for example this character: I made her from the Lunari race which you can find here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21602/?tab=3&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fuser%3D0%26id%3D21602%26gid%3D110 I took the default preset and started adjusting the face features. I usually look from every angle at the race menu to adjust the fine details. I pay attention to the cheeks to have a round, a bit full shape but also a bit high. I like the brows to be normal height and a bit curved inwards. I like the face to have some sort of cheekbones and not just round. So I added some definition to the cheekbones. Next I tried adjust her skin tone and I noticed that a darker skin tone would suit this specific skin texture really well. For the hair I tried every possible combination until I got something that I liked. Once I did that I got more ideas how to shape the character and make everything fit together. After I got the hair how I wanted I noticed that the eyes don't quite suit the character and changed them from silver to green like in the picture above. After that I noticed that the eye lashes were kind of small for her and made them bigger to fit better the rest of the character. But you still need some exercise to start figuring out which parts suit your character and which parts don't. And you need to adjust those parts. Once you adjust them you will get a better picture of the character that you want and some new ideas.
  9. I like steam because it has a very good way of showcasing mods and how it sorts them by most popular by day/week, months.
  10. It's not released yet, I made it. Will release it for sure but probably on steam or here, but not too sure if here.
  11. Not yet in-game but I will get it in the comming days for my characters:
  12. I did get some adds that seemed more like adult stuff that you would find on an adult website. But I was not logged in which makes things even bad since anyone could see them. When I logged in it was gone so I could not report it. It didn't show anything explicit but you would expect that sort of add on an adult site. And it wasn't in English so only people that know the language might get them. I am not writing the details here, I can give them somewhere safe if something can be done about it. Now this is my own personal opinion about adds and maybe I am exaggerating a bit paranoid here.
  13. Don't you have an option directly in the maya File menu to send the current scene straight to 3ds max? I think that might work better. I know I have an option to send it to mudbox but all autodesk products should be linked this way. Maybe the menu option will handle differently and set up some proper options. Also are you using different versions of 3ds max and maya? Both should be the same edition, 2016, 2015 and so on.
  14. I compiled and improved the maya plugin to work for maya 2016 and I also fixed some other bugs since my 2012 release. You can find it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65421/? I looked into fallout 4 support and ran into some issues completely unrelated to the maya plugin and actually coding the thing which stopped me from updating it. A part of the plugin is made in a special way and I can\t integrate the new fallout 4 mesh system. Honestly if I didn't have a job and didn't run into these problems I would have probably at least managed to get support for basic meshes. I pretty much need to copy the existing code and reroute it to take the mesh data from the new structures introduced with fallout 4. But I am stuck at a point where I can't even code despite knowing exactly what to do. And I don't like Fallout 4 that much so I don't have that much motivation.
  15. Hello guys. Of course I worked on the plugin as I used it and noticed issues with it. Now it works for maya 2016 and more bugfixed. You can get it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65421/?
