  1. In response to post #10889498. #10903312 is also a reply to the same post. Workaround Fix: Run NMM in offline mode, download mods manually from Nexus, use NMM Add button to point NMM to Mods, then of course run BOSS to sort load order. Hope this helps.

  3. For scripted mods that leave scripts running in a save upon uninstall, i.e. that don't have a time out, etc built in due to sloppy scripting, is there any way to kill this type of script ? I assume that the script name(s) can be extracted from the mod in the CK, but not sure how.. Is it then possible to use the console to stop these script(s) before uninstalling the offending mod? Any insight on this issue would be welcome. BTW, I have rudimentary knowledge of the CK, bur zero scripting ability at this point. Thanks!
  4. I realize this Thread is somewhat "stale" but I too have had this issue on a uber-system ( 580GTX-SLI, [email protected], 12Gb 8-8-8 RAM). I found a simple mod that nearly cures the stuttering issue. "Skyrim_Stutter_Fix-2581-0-1" It's a FPS / DLL fix and I have near perfect results at 50 FPS limit with no tearing. I found the texture optimizer not so good on my system. I had have some CTDs at that point which I traced to a combination of mods that modified the world space. All of these issue appeared after the 1.6 update with no new mods installed. Hope this helps somewhat chb000
  5. I'm looking for details of how and what MNAM marker flags are interpreted when seen in FONVedit, and where in the GECK that these values are generated. I've searched Bethsoft's site and the Fallout wiki with no results, same for a Google search . Thanks!
  6. Hello Got a strange one here. First, simple description of issue: When in inventory screen, initiating repair of an item, be it weapon or armor when appropriate repair materials are also in inventory, clicking repair key produces no repair result. This issue appeared sometime after Honest hearts DLC was installed. reverting to a previous save fixes issue. I have a heavy load order, merged patch thru FOMM and FONV patch at 1.4. What I would like to know if there is any known issues of this sort that popped up with HH/FONV1.4 ? I have included load list. Note any file with CHB is a custom patch tweaking weapon/damage/health, etc stats, No scripting.   10. I looked at your load order quickly and see it's...not good. :wallbash: I won't outright reorder it for you, but tell you how to fix it yourself. Included in most mods or on their Nexus homepage is recommended load order, read them and take their recommendations seriously. ELECTRO-CITY esp's needs to go dead last, AND in correct order! It WILL cause many nasty issues if not done so . Are you familiar with FONVEedit? It is an amazing tool to figure out conflicts in load order! You will need to read the documentation carefully 1st as it isn't intuitive as some utilities. I noticed you have several weapons mods, that's OK!, but there will functional conflicts at the minimum between them, maybe crash causing ones. Use FONVEedit at it's simplest form to create a merged patch for ALL installed mods and load it last( this will minimize fatal conflicts) I am assuming you are using FOMM and it's Archive Invalidation feature(each time anew mod is installed)? Try out these steps and post any further questions or PM me Howlingwind
  11. Quick follow up: If you want any advise on running modded games feel free to PM me privately. I am a not so skilled at building mods but consider myself a power-user/tweaker of mods, to make work for me and my vision of FONV universe.
  12. Hey, sound like your a new here, so here's a solution to your query and a primer on searching for specific mods. Here is the file #'s for a Veronica and Cassidy mods that work well-36588 (requires Lings cosmetic mod, 35352). New Vegas Nexus has a really easy to use search feature: Click "search" on button bar at top of any page. Type a search term into the description box and select a area from the Category drop down box, scroll down and hit search. BYW, take some time to read the documentation for this site...it really helps. try looking thru the top 100 mods for amazing proven stuff. also, I hope you are using Fallout Mod manager, if not your game will become nerfed real fast(I learned the hard way)
  13. Problem solved. The ooo133.exe file is bad news, it is missing several files! I opened using 7zip to be on the safe side. BTW, I am running Win7-64, I've read that this may be an issue for the exe version, BUT I don't see how or why. Anyways, thanks for reading my posts and giving suggestions. They put me on the right track to solving the issue. I hope my tribulations with OOO can help others avoid this insidious issue. Thanks again from CHB000, aka Howlingwind
  14. A quick update on my quest to fix this problem. I have been using the ooo133.exe version, for starters it has NO "Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm" file. patching it with the 1.34 ver, don't fix issue. So I have to assume that the .exe ver. is nerfed! I am going to try again with the 7z version and patch. Stay Tuned!
